hello since 3 days i trie to install your rom but i have problem with twrp when i flash it and tries to boot into recovery screen freeze "your device is booting now" since 1 hour and recovery not appear please help i'am on B378

I'm on B378, but in recovery (TWRP 3.1) I got an error:

Its a recovery fault, not mine. Some processes get hang up. I have that too sometimes, but have to downgrade and upgrade to fix this bug. One of the head problem is, twrp get lost of use, if we wipe system and it doesnt rework the needed things.

I was having a massive battery drain after update from marshmallow to nougat stock through ota (hicare).

After Full wipe (system, data, internal storage, dalvik and cache) and flash this rom through TWRP, for me no battery drain at all.
Charging 3 times, I'm very very happy with battery life.
200 apps installed (no facebook, I change the official app with the alternative Folio pro to have minor battery consumption).
Set main memory location to external sd withot any issue.

I have to thank the developer for this fully debloated and clean rom.
Hope he supports this device for a long time.

Ahn ... until now I've tried to flash all possible sound mod.
No one works except for dolby atmos 6.5 (that's working well).

Having some issue with phh root on some apps like foldermount and few others cause they required chainfire supersu.

Hope it helps.

could you please give a links where you downloaded dolby atmos for nougat? I tried to install it but it has no effect because I can't even find the app after installation.

How can I get back to MM?

Restore first your TWRP Backup from Stock Nougat. After flash Stock Huawei Recovery (this is required).
Next step: flashing Emui Transition Pack:

After that flash last Full Marshmallow Firmware for your device.

Welcome, mOOnlight Users!

Since the Galaxy S3 i build Custom ROMs, but i'm since then not known here.. Everyone that use my builds know, the ROM is almost completely debloated. Unfortunately Im not a fan of the whole content they build in, although less than others. Before i changed to huawei i had an S3 like mentioned before, and a Z2 from sony. Im here since mid of june, and appreciated so far with a very stable and bugfree P9. At this stage i start here with my projects for all users like to flash custom roms. My support is highly 2-3 years or until EOL from Huawei.

The next step after mallowPOP is now based on 7.0 Nougat, called mOOnlight. Its a mainly new builded ROM and does nearly the same as MM before, give the users a clean and stable build without any issues.


mOOnlight v1.0 Base: B378
- Prerooted Kernel with PHH
- Latest Playstore
- Heavy debloated all parts of the buildup
- Rest same as before on mallowPOP

Requirements:
Be on Nougat stock or Custom with recovery from this thread: TWRP 3.0.3
Wipe system and data, not format as it supports decryption.
Flash the rom and boot it.
Install phh from Playstore

Small information: Uploading v2 now, its B383 buildup with latest march security patch. This build is not prerooted as default, cause of bugs to pack boot.img. I fix this soon after my holidays, you can use patched SuperSU for EMUI5 instead.

This means, there are plenty of apps deleted from google and HwHealth.

Link is in OP now. You have to update twrp to 3.1.0 for sure or it won't work.
Anyway, please let me know, if the rom works on B378 out of the box, since i updated to B383, i can't tell more about that.
