As long as the boot loader wasn't updated in the process of updating to LP then yes. Definitely worth a shot.I fear you're right, but does the fact that the original KitKat firmware was rooted bode well for the possibility of also rooting the Lollipop update?
I guess you went back to AND7? ANK2 would not root for me. Did you leave it on AND7 or upgrade after root?Yep... I downgraded back to Kitkat so I could root and install Xposed. Feels so good to have control again.
Yes, I'm on ND7, no i didn't upgrade from there and yes, I used the debloat script to prevent OTAs.I guess you went back to AND7? ANK2 would not root for me. Did you leave it on AND7 or upgrade after root?
Mine was having random reboot problem on lollipop. No reboots after returning to ANK2. Glad to have it stable, but miss having a rooted device. Do I have to downgrade all the way back to AND7, root and debloat to stay rooted?
I finally got it done this morning.Yes, I'm on ND7, no i didn't upgrade from there and yes, I used the debloat script to prevent OTAs.
Chainfire's. I'm gonna run it a few days regardless. Give it time to get settled. No I haven't had a single reboot since the downgrade. What method did you use for root?
I have Xposed running with no problems.
I was thinking that's what it was. But after it blue screening on me twice, I lost patience and went back to stock lollipop.I was having a bunch of reboots, but after I accepted Knox into my heart lol it stopped. When you started supersu did you allow it to kill Knox?
