yeah cause I tried to ADB shell the script to enable device ownership and it didn't work. I gave up because the battery loss I saw this AM on my commute was a good 5% more than my s8+ with debloat. Needed to stop the blood flow.
Wow, I'm with you. Bought this last night, and did it with my note 3, now I don't even need the note 8 anymore haha (not really, note 3 screen keeps blacking out for no apparent reason). Either way this is such a good app, sorry that I have missed this for so long. Would have come in handy long ago.

Just tried Bk Package Disabler and it was able to disable both system update apps. This was my top concern because I do this with every new phone in hopes that there is a root exploit out of the gate. Once you update you may lose your chance at any root methods as the first updates very often are to patch security holes
which processes are those?

First off, I've only disable the the dt ignite, system updates, Verizon apps, and stuff I've installed. I'm a "free ram junkie" so I keep stuff disabled until I use it. I was on PDP for a year or so, stopped taking updates about v.7.8(?). Of course PDP doesn't work so I picked up BK. Instantly fell in love! Love the widgets you can make to turn groups of apps on/off! With the little I have disabled I have like 2.4-2.8g free! I'm going to disable a bunch of junk tomorrow, but I'm curious as to how much free ram everyone else has?

I'm at 1.8g free in the past 3 hours. Is there a way to see live rather then an average? What did you remove? Do you have a list?

Haven't tried it, just know I keep hitting the button and have to back out of it. Annoying!!

Yea. Not sure what made them think that putting it on a button was such a good idea. I noticed that it is pretty much opposite the power button, which means lots of accidental presses. I don't talk to my phone, and I certainly don't need an inconvenient button that tries to force me to. As soon as someone finds a good way to shut it off, I'm taking it.

I've used PDP on my unrooted Note 4 and it's been great for handling the massive bloatwarefest that is the Note 4. Too bad that it's not yet updated for Nougat. Perhaps it will be soon. The author of it is certainly missing out on sales by not getting it updated in time.

FWIW - I just picked up the phone yesterday and initially PDP wouldn't activate. It was due to SmartSwitch installing and when I uninstalled/reinstalled PD and the PDP Engine, it activated just fine.

PDP Works - Must download PDP Engine from their website

On my Note 5 and now on my Note 8 PDP didn't work and wants you to install PDP Engine, but the Play Store apk doesnt function. You have to go to their website and download PDP Engine for it to function properly.

About to dump PDP and go with BK Package Disabler.
