The Panasonic T40 was first made available for purchase in October 2014. It features a 4” 480 x 800 IPS LCD display, offering a pixel density of ~233 PPI. Under the hood sits a MediaTek MT6582M chipset, which utilises a 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU, a Mali-400MP2 GPU and 1 GB of system RAM. A microSD card slot is available, allowing expansion of the 8 GB of internal storage. The primary camera is capable of capturing images at 5 MP, the secondary at 2 MP. The whole 117g package is kept powered-up by a removable 1500mAh battery.
