Guys, too much work is being done recently and features are trying to be finished as soon as possible trying to guarantee they are done they way they should. Developers would like to release it today if it could be possible, but yet unfinished stuff is present.

As far as the details I can give about PA, I would like to tell you I´ve been looking for two weeks or so for adding aptX support for the OnePlus 3/3T as well as other devices supported by PA team and it´s already added and working flawlessly. For those who does not know what aptX is give a look HERE.

Now I am looking to get myself an aptXHD capable device to check if aptXHD support can be added, which is the superior version to aptX but not so many devices support it.

I know it might be getting some heavy or slow for you, but you must know developers are trying their best to provide a ROM which is complete enough and functional so you can enjoy of its greatness and fall in love with its features, camera and performance.
That way it´s easier too since we won´t need hotfixes or have any important bug, which uses to happen when people release stuff fast.

Be patient, it´s worth it.
Glad to see you here @herna. Following you since Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 days.
and regarding aptX, I guess @dh.harald is already working on it. here.
Please pardon me if it's not the superior version you were talking about.

Hi!

Nice to have someone from old N7000 times around.

Well, I actually started digging myself on aptX support since I have 4 capable devices over a month ago, then discovered last week @dh.harald thread which gave me some ideas and helped me thanked to some users and his comments. Kudos to him!

What I'm trying will get the same result but using private libs I was luckily to be provided which seems to be a newer/updated version of aptXHD(which includes aptX), since the libraries are not organized same way as the current aptX on Moto Z. I already have aptX working since a few week, just want to compare if there differences between both versions.

It's not a big feature but I am excited since in my case I will use it a lot and the audio quality is georgeous, much different.

Happy again to have you here, wish you to enjoy PA build when it comes out.

@herna. Will be possible to build AOSPA from source when it will be released? Recently I'm playing with a Ubuntu virtual machine and will like to try building from source

Yeah, platform and chipset specific sources are online and they are being worked on in real time.

Device specific sources will get online together with the official release.

Hey.
Questions to the Devs and testers: is Bluetooth calling working proper? I have a aptX sennheiser headset and am constantly running into connection issues when trying to call someone on LOS and sometimes even OOS roms. Maybe someone can give feedback that has access to PA7. Thanks guys

So I'll have to go to OxygenOS 3.2.4 first, then flash PA?
That's so weird, I've never had to do that with any other android devices before :S
Also how do I flash modem separately? Sorry, the modem bit is new to me.
Well, changing firmware in a way that breaks something is a really bad practice, dunno why OnePlus thought it would be a good idea ...
Anyways, like already said, no need to flash whole ROM, you can get just the firmware.
