Just give them some time. Have patience. If the issue for you is really bad try to stick with stock rom for now. I can relate to you and a lot of other users though, this ROM is gonna be an amazing ROM.

I may be wrong but I believe the term you are looking for is trickle charge not ripple charge.

Similar, although you don't typically use trickle charging on Lipos - trickle charging will degrade the cells as it's keeping a voltage across them while fully charged if I recall my battery chemistry correctly.

Trickle charging is how you keep a NiCd or NiMh battery full when sitting on the charger. What I described is a bit more of a firmware and software hack around the charge control system. It is similar, but the difference is it stops charging the battery and actually allows it to discharge to avoid keeping voltage across the cells (thus degrading them slowly)

I use Blu_Spark TWRP and recommend you do as well as it is the most stable. And Magisk 12 works perfectly with this ROM. SuperSU is dead.

Blu_Spark TWRP is fine, unless you want to use F2FS, and I'm pretty sure the OP3T comes from the factory with /data on F2FS so he's better off using exactly what is recommended by the OP.

I've been rocking this since start and so far it's very impressive. Albeit it's not as stable as I'd hoped it'd be considering the amount of time that was put into it.

1. I've had major hiccups where the system ui becomes completely unresponsive and restarts after several seconds (never have I had this experience in dozens of Rom I've used so far).

2. Idle battery drain is average at best.

I soo want to stay on this rom, but right know I'm faced with a dilemma which I'm unable to resolve. I hope it gets fixed soon enough.

I don't see any systemui crash in your log, however such a log would be very important to debug your issue.

Aroma Gapps

Magisk 12
Ext4 System Format
TWRP latest official one

So suppose to be that I should only do is to change my TWRP to the recommended TWRP on the OP then wipe everything then flash ROM, GAPPS, Magisk? Am I right Sir?

Magisk is the future, does exactly what SuperSU does and then way way more. There is literally no reason to use it over Magisk lol

Thank you for the reply! I also had the issue with system ui being unresponsive when the phone is waked up after a long time.

Sorry, I don't mean to whine. But, I also had the issue with Google assistant not speaking in pa. I just tried two different roms and I didn't face any such issue.

Mmm. I'm also waiting for an update but honestly I can't say I need one because everything is working incredibly well (OK, minor hiccups but not more than what's on e.g. stock ROM, I think). Maybe it's more of an expectation that the first release is crap and is quickly followed by a series of corrections but with this one I can see that the devs have already put a lot of testing and tuning into the first release.

Yes. I've tried beans gaps full and openapps aroma. Multiple times infact. It only speaks while having conversations and not with frequent tasks like weather, reminders, calls, etc..

You are installing the wrong Gapps...that is why it isn't working. In the OP it clearly states either Open Gapps Mini or Nano should be used. I used Mini and it works great. Do not use Beans apps they have problems. So I would clean install ROM with Open Gapps Mini and your issue will be resolved. Take care

I've been using opengapps aroma since as long as I can remember. I've never had any issues. Also, I told you I just flashed aroma gapps in two other roms without any issues just to check if it was gapps issue. And its not as far as I can observe.
