Everything works except for changing the volume of the conversation
Talk volume is the same with minimum and maximum settings
The volume of the interlocutor does not change
To me it feels as fast as on my OnePlus3. Everything works just fine and there are no problems. This rom was developed for the 821 but I patched it with the correct firmware files for our devices. It's not that you can emulate one chip on another platform...Hey guys,
I'm just looking into options I have with the X722, and Paranoid Android seems like the best one around. I just have some quick questions.
1) How is the battery and thermal profiles? I'm now on stock EUI, and get around 6-8 SOT. I guess that SOT will be lower, but by how much? Also I intend to use the phone as a daily driver, and considering the ROM is cooked for Snapdragon 821 by default, are there any problems like overheating or battery drains? And can the battery be improved with AKT profiles for OnePlus 3 and Le Max 2, or is it pointless to try?
2) Is the ROM as stupidly fast as videos show with OnePlus 3T and Le Pro 3 non X722? Honestly, the speed looks amazing, mainly compared to EUI. I don't mind EUI that much, but wow, this looks stunning.
3) Is there any kind of OTA available?
Thanks a lot, it's great to have some options with X722.
That's great to hear, thank you very much!To me it feels as fast as on my OnePlus3. Everything works just fine and there are no problems. Battery life for me is the same as on EUI. Battery lasts me 1,5 days with SOT of 5hours when not watching videos and using a lot of music streaming and stuff like that in the car.
There is nothing as had as EUI. If you think EUI works fine than you have never used a device with a good ROM like the OnePlus 3
I don't have this behaviour on mine... IF I had this the battery wouldn't last even 8 hours with my usage.Hello @soulaiman, i had a battery drin of around 5% per hour which was caused by Nfc services (com.android.nfc). After i deleted it the drain was gone. You can safely remove it from your next build since our phone does not have a nfc.![]()
Thanks for the feedback. I've installed magisk 14.3 on both this ROM and LOS14.1 and didn't have issues.Gotta say, the ROM is truly a wonderful one. Everything is fast as hell, battery is the same as with EUI. Just a small PSA, if anyone is wondering about not flashing the gapps immediatelly, just do it. And choose one of the normal packages, not aroma installer, the ROM wasn't working without it.
I've encountered some bugs:
1) Installing Magisk 14.0 gave me a bootloop. If anyone encounters this problem too, just flash Magisk Uninstaller in TWRP and then flash beta of Magisk 14.3., this one works. It even passes SafetyNet out of the box.
2) After reboot, I have no wallpaper - I have to lock and unlock the phone first, then it works. It's really a small one, so no one needs to bother about it.
3) LED light doesn't flash other than really fast, options doesn't change anything.
4) Adaptive brightness isn't fluid, it looks like it goes 10-20-30 instead of 1-2-3
5) Google Clock app stops working immediatelly after opening. You can fix this with any terminal app, just write
$ su
$ find /data -name alarms.db -delete
Other than that, the ROM seems great. Thank you very much for your job, you were right all along, going back to EUI is impossible right now.
Well maybe you already had the most needed GApps in phone before flashing. I don't know which are those (and it seems like I don't install them by myself, because I didn't choose those in the Aroma installer of GApps) but when I installed the ROM without any GApps, I just booted into black screen saying Google and System doesn't respond, and there was nothing I could've done about it. And it was the same with Aroma, just black screen and unusable phone. When I installed one of the normal packages, everything went smoothly, so I don't know, maybe it's just my phone going crazy. But it's still my advice to install those apps, at least just in case, because 99,9% users will still install them sooner or later.Thanks for the feedback. I've installed magisk 14.3 on both this ROM and LOS14.1 and didn't have issues.
As for gapps, I booted it up without installing and it worked, but obviously no setup wizard. I installed the micro or mini can't remember and it was fine.
Autobrightness not being smooth: yeah but I think it's just how the phone is... On EUI I had noticed this too during the first use.
The other bugs I can't comment on, I installed nova launcher as it's soooo fluid and use the stock clock app.
Another user said something about not vibrating while receiving calls... You have to go to the sound settings and enable 'also vibrate for incoming calls' option.
Oh yeah I noticed that fast blinking led last night too ! Hadn't seen it before. Will look into this.
I'm glad that we can use this device again. If LeTV had just put LOS or PA on the device pre loaded they would have sold like crazy, as the hardware is really good !
[*]Install TWRP recovery (I used one specificly for the X722 by @CrisBalGreece). If you use a X720 TWRP image then you'll have to extract boot.img from the zip and flash it after flashing the ROM in fastboot. Please don't be stupid and report bugs while you aren't even flashing the damn boot img...
OMG... Sorry...@CrisBalGreece want to share your custom TWRP?

Listen, I did understand you but from what I've tested and tested vibration is working for me and others ! Yesterday my phone was on the table and somebody called me, it vibrated.You did not understand me. Vibration does not work. You call, does not work when you call!
