Thank you very much for this ROM. It installed easily. The interface is very good. The only problem I encountered was that connection to my 4G network was not as efficient as before. I could only achieve 3G connections despite of correct settings!! After putting back my previous 20S rom 4G signal came back strong.
HAs anybody observed this?
If the 4G sensitivity issue is solved then I would definitely work with this ROM.

PS I have my 4G internet card in the second slot,
I observed that in the settings both my sim cards were activated for DATA! This is strange since the phone, I think, does not support simultaneous 4G connections. I deactivated DATA for slot 1 sim, but stilll only 3G connections!!

I don't have root (stock 026s) and I don't have any rom by to check directory but it should be in some system ... /lib map with other *.so files

my camera was also not working with all custom roms i tried including the one from this thread
but finally i got it working on los 14.1, check out my post:

maybe my solution will also work for paranoid but only if you compile from source

you dont have to edit the kernel source, my mistake
problem is solved by copying missing vendor files to the rom:

etc/camera/*
vendor/lib/*298*
vendor/lib/libactuator_*

Can you post a screenshot? I'm new to this and flashing a rom is even new to me. Changing root files is very intimidating. I am sorry to be a hassle.

For lineage 14.1 not working. Fix you actuator afer instalation rom? Maybe Before~ to zip?

If I change settings from LTE to 2G and then back to LTE, I can force it to connect in 4G mode but then it drops back to lower speeds (3G, H, E) after a few minutes and stays there. Whereas in the 20S 4G is more stable and if it drops to lower speeds it recovers to 4G within seconds!

This rom was originally from x720, it might not have same network baseband, but I've seen many network stuff like LTE/GPRS and more in sim setup. I set it to either Global or just LTE. I also noticed the signal were weaker than stock rom.

Beside being an overall very good ROM, these are some problems that I have:
1. Miracast, can't connect to wireless display
2. Face unlock not working
3. Fingerprint scanner sometimes is not responsive
4. Freezes several times when playing youtube video in the background
5. Weaker LTE signal reception, but in areas with strong signal, no connection problems
6. Rom Toolbox Lite can't set highest CPU frequency and CPU governor

The one that annoys me is the miracast problem, others are not too annoying.

I finally got my phone and flashed it successfully right away. The camera even works. However, my SoT has been abysmal at around 3.5-4 hours max. I've found that android system is the biggest battery hog. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Bluetooth and wifi are both on and location is too but on battery saving mode.

Hey, just popping into this thread to give my props to OP for porting this. Bought this phone for my mum thinking that it was also a ZL1 compatible with the official ROM and was quite disappointed to find out it wasn't. Thought this would be a kinda buggy ROM due to the lack of specific source code, but everything works great. Chucked it on, installed the Google Camera port and my mum is loving the experience. Great job, OP.

I found my biggest battery drain is nfc which we don't even have. How do i remove this kernel?i think that would fix but i am new to this

Delete nfc service (com.android.nfc) with titanium backup or similar app. No need to change the kernel
