If OOS Camera is available and FULLY functional I'll definitely make the switch cause battery drain is getting ridiculous

It works for me. I used apkmirror latest available OnePlus camera.

What base? 10.0.1 or beta 5?

Any of them will work :)

Running well so far. Set my apps up.

Vibration behaves differently to OOS - Mostly fixed by setting GBoard's haptic to 10ms. This value seems more inline with OOS but there's no way to set this system wide.
System gestures don't work with third party launchers - Fixed with a third party app for now. Vivid navigation gestures.
Android system patch is just 'unknown'?? @herna

We add 3rd party launchers gestures support in a near future.

Chromium on video playback Is crashing . I think It was a problem wirh the webview , and last gaps from 14/11 don't works After a clean flash ( bootloop )

Chromium seems to have some issues. I do recommend using Chrome until we get to solve that.

@herna - Any comment on the 'unknown' security patch?
Are you modifying or not merging these correctly?

EDIT

CAF merges patches slower than AOSP
We are up to date to CAF

I really want to flash this ROM, but anyone can answer/help me with this questions?

1. I read some comments about flashing Android 10 in both slots in TWRP. How can I do that? Just boot TWRP, flash, reboot and flash again..? Will this process automatically change slots?

2. How can I go back to stock(including recovery)?

3. Is the battery better than OS 10.0.2?

4. Should I flash magisk after initializing the ROM?

5. Does GCAM (and AUX cameras) work?

Really thank you.

1. Flash OOS 10 in twrp. Flash twrp. Reboot back to recovery and repeat. Yes, it changes slots for you :)

2. I guess format /data in twrp and flash OOS 10 again on both slots. This is the one you need to say 'yes' to

3. For me, yes, I've gained 1.5-2hrs SOT

4. My flashing order
Flash PA
Flash twrp
Reboot to recovery
Flash PA
Flash twrp
Reboot to recovery
Flash gapps
Flash magisk
Reboot

5. Yup. I'm using GCam 7 w/ aux magisk module and all is well. OOS cam works too but crashes on portrait or vidya mode for me. Not bothered to look for the fix.

Oh, I'm using twrp .70 . Anything else just screwed up after reboots sometimes...

I'd strongly recommend you make a twrp backup and then backup your entire /sdcard to your PC just incase things go awry

Are there any tweaks in the newest beta? I really miss the old Paranoid Android styled roms

The rom is pretty barebones but the flipside is performance is fantastic and SOT is better than OOS (for me, at least)

It's still beta so I'm sure things like DC dimming and 60/90Hz toggle are on their way.

After playing with PA for a night and going to Bliss, there is a big difference. PA seems to be a hell of a lot smotther than the current Roms there is. Going back to PA.

We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.

Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

    Device-specific issues

    You tell me.

Note: Custom kernels are NOT supported!

    Requirements

Make sure you've latest Stable firmware flashed on both the slots before flashing the ROM.

    Hi everyone!

We have fixed the vibration stuff, and right now we could say we are on pair(even above IMO) in terms of vibration compared to OOS.

It will be included in a release which will be out during the next 7 days, which is going to be a huuuuuge update.

    Hope you like it!
