Does this rom has parallel apps like OOS10?
Hi guys, can I flash it on one plus 7?
Is there a way to DISABLE quick pulldown (pulling down quick settings on the right side of the statusbar) on this ROM? I can't find any custom settings.
If I flash the current build will I be able to dirty flash the upcoming update or will it require a clean install?
Just don't want to go through two clean installs and don't fell like waiting
Is the dynamic refresh the same that OOS uses?Paranoid Android Quartz Beta 4 for the OnePlus 7 Pro is out
This update includes the following device specific changes:
Switched to arter97 kernel, specifically made for Paranoid Android(version 50)*
Implemented support for the high-end vibration motor**
Implemented dynamic screen refresh rate***
Alert Slider UX/UI improvements
Improved FOD(fixed flickering too)
Improved brightness
Upgraded to chromium zlib (improves compression, decompression, PNG decoding, APK installing, and other performance across the board)
Upgraded to GCC 9 for building kernel (improves performance)
Added ANT+ support
Added Hotword Enrollment (OK Google detection with screen off)
Under the hood improvements for a much better experience
IMPORTANT NOTES!
Starting on this build, all of the official PA zips will be signed with our own keys, this means you will have to perform a clean install starting on Beta 4. Once you are on Beta 4, there won´t be more clean install required, as well as you will be able to update to newer betas and/or official releases with a dirty flash.
* @arter97 is one of our key developers, and he has adapted his kernel to Paranoid Android. This kernel includes a ton of improvements related to battery life, performance, CPU and GPU usage, improved RAM management as well as it is always updated to the latest CAF iteration and fully supports f2fs out of the box.
** We have added support for the new vibration motor that OnePlus has added in the OnePlus 7 Pro, which makes the experience a lot better. The haptics are incredible, and we have also adapted our framework to provide some haptics in some parts of the UI/UX so we make use of it.
*** This is an experimental feature, and definitely is not a bug. We have added a kernel feature that checks whether there is content that can run at 90Hz or not, and so switch between the 60Hz or 90Hz mode, looking for a massive battery improvement. You will notice that the screen "flickers", but that´s not the case, it´s just 60Hz mode and 90Hz mode runs on different gammas, so the display looks different depending on which refresh rate you are on. You will easily get used to it, and yet we are looking for making this behaviour less aggressive in the future, but as this is a beta, we wanted you to try and know your opinion about it.

Is OOS camera in the Beta 4?
Yeah I don't like the whole long press way. From what I've tried in other roms aosp camera isn't too bad in my opinion. Will flash later and see how things goI have added a MEGA mirror in the #1
You can use the one from apkmirror.com, it will work.
It's working w/o the long pressed/shortcut workaround.Yeah I don't like the whole long press way. From what I've tried in other roms aosp camera isn't too bad in my opinion. Will flash later and see how things go
