OP7 pro, this is the procedure I followed but the launcher keeps crashing (especially if from the home you want to enter the "home settings" menu, it practically does not work) and when I activate the screen from off it has a bug with the background.
Is it possible that vendor.img has something to do with it (which I can't find anywhere?) Or have I not paid much attention to A / B slots?)

Stable OOS 10 EU (and again with GLOBAL)
Fastboot TWRP
Format Data and convert to F2FS
Reboot
Again Fastboot TWRP
Flash Quartz
TWRP flash
Reboot

Thx

first flash OOS twice so you have it in both slots.

This is making me feel like an idiot

I cannot for the life of me install this rom. I have been flashing phones for almost a decade now and have never bricked a phone until now... 4 times in a row. Have to use the MSM Download Tool every time. Then I do as follows:

Let stock OOS update itself to 10.0.3
Using "Tool All-In-One":

Unlock bootloader
flash twrp
Reboot to OOS
Reboot fastboot
Boot twrp 3.4.0
Format Data
reboot fastboot
boot twrp 3.4.0
flash PA Q5
reboot - gets stuck in bootloader every time and says "FAILED (remote: unknown command)" when I try booting it to recovery again

So, what am I doing wrong?

Do it every custom roms, safer way

1) Boot into TWRP, format data, then reboot in twrp
2) Flash Oxygen OS, flash twrp zip, reboot to twrp
3) Flash Oxygen OS again, flash twrp zip, reboot to twrp
4) Flash your ROM (PA), flash twrp zip, reboot to twrp
5) Flash Gapps (if they are included in the ROM don't do it), flash magisk, reboot system

From what I read 5G isn't supported on custom roms until they merge in with android 11. So my question is if this installs on the 5g variant will I still have 4g access or no modem at all? And then once PA11 is out I will get 5g?

Anyone having issues with Pokemon Go on this ROM? I have gapps installed and pass safetynet with verification 100% of the time, the issue is I always get a location not found error until I jump into location settings with the app open and toggle google location accuracy off and on, having to do this every time you switch to a different app back to pokemon go... Works fine on stock and resurrection remix both with magisk, but neither get as good battery life as this ROM

Terrible battery drain! 12% in the night.
Have you checked what's wakelocking with better battery stats? I've never had bad battery drain, check the awake (screen off) to deep sleep ratio.

very promissing but , i'll just back to OOS ..
what people need is not only stability bro, but for daily use too. think about it.
- OOS Camera is vital aspect . yeah, i suppose not every geek love to take a photos but you cannot give love to the camera when only using aosp camera with only just good photo. using gcam ? well gcam working good but color result are dumb than aosp, good for landscape but very zombies like when take picture of potrair people. so detailed but make the person UGLy.

just consider it, to implement it. you have good ads skill like using website, OTA, and designer that can attract people to try. but what? they not stick to the ROM cause no multimedia that can perfected this ROM. like u eating food without water . its dry .... think it

@herna thank you for sharing this great rom!

I have a question about DC dimming, does it completely remove pwm flicker?

The original dc dimming option of oneplus 7 pro has still flicker below 50% brightness:
https://www.notebookcheck.net/Analy...displays-without-the-flickering.423121.0.html

I am looking for a dc-dimming solution which disables pwm at all brightness levels, is the dc-dimming option from paranoid flickerfree below 50% brightness level?

We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.

Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

    Device-specific issues

    You tell me.

Note: Custom kernels are NOT supported!

    Hi everyone!

We have fixed the vibration stuff, and right now we could say we are on pair(even above IMO) in terms of vibration compared to OOS.

It will be included in a release which will be out during the next 7 days, which is going to be a huuuuuge update.

    Hope you like it!
