hey guys.. so i decided to try PA Quartz 4 after a long time coming from OOS (Beta 16).. this is how i flashed PA

-Reboot to recovery from OOS (Partition A- Active Parition)
-Wipe Cache, Data
-Flash OOS OB16, TWRP 3.4.0.0, DM Verity Disabler
-Reboot to recovery (Partition B)
-Wipe Cache, Data
-Flash OOS OB16, TWRP 3.4.0.0, DM Verity Disabler (Something strange observed here, when OOS was flashed, there was a prompt in the script saying it is flashing A/B zip to Inactive Slot A)
-Reboot to recovery (Partition A)
-Wipe Cache, Data
-Flash PA, TWRP 3.4.0.0, DM Verity Disabler (Although in slot A, this time PA was flashed on inactive parition B)
-Reboot System

PA booted successfully, did initial setup

-Reboot to recovery (Rebooted to Parition B)
-Flash Magisk, DM Verity Disabler, Reboot, Profit!

I did not have to format storage with this method... Another query I have while I am exploring this amazing ROM.. I have been able to find 2 hidden features (Right Side Quick Pull Notification, Advanced Reboot).. could someone shed some light on what more hidden features are available in this?

I cant find the "Right Side Quick Pull Notification", but the advanced reboot can be accessed by holding the power button, then press and hold "restart" to bring up "recover, quick restart and boot-loader" options.
nice implementation in my opinion.

Issues with mobile data toggle

I have not been able to get the mobile data switch to work between SIM cards. I have a t-mobile variant converted to international with the latest quartz 4. If I go in and manually flip the data switch on the other card, it will switch, but the quick settings tile does not work. It seems to just kill data for both cards. Any way I can help troubleshoot this issue?

I have looked around but cannot seem to find an option for a different ringtone for the second sim? Sorry if I missed the post if there is one, search did not find anything.
Loving the rom BTW about 48 hours in now.

If this is not something in the rom would it be something that could be added?
Thanks in advance.

I am currently on OxygenOS Open Beta 16... I love it, but when I upgraded to the beta, it locked me out of using call recording.

I have tried to use skvalex's call recording app, but that doesn't work either.

Is it possible to use Quartz 4 on OxygenOS beta 16? Or do I need to factory reset to downgrade, and then install Quartz 4?

For a daily..this is update is fine. Also, nice to see that GPay works out of the box. But its definitely struggling with some performance once you start playing games. Even at 60fps. For some reason the CPU feels like it's being choked.

I use 3 phones and framerates are more bearable on the SD845 on my Pixel 3 XL stock, and the Exynos 9825 on my Note 10+ OneUI 2.1. Even though those 2 use older chips.

warp charge does not work. Dash charge works fine. But I can never hit 6000ma.

Also there is another issue Bluetooth disconnects on all of my devices randomly. With Bluetooth headsets it's usually within a couple of minutes

I searched through the thread and it says dash/warp is supported. Does anyone else have this issue?

Going to maybe go back to stock or another ROM

Sucks because I used this ROM for most of this year

We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.

Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

    Hi everyone!

We have fixed the vibration stuff, and right now we could say we are on pair(even above IMO) in terms of vibration compared to OOS.

It will be included in a release which will be out during the next 7 days, which is going to be a huuuuuge update.

    Hope you like it!
