this ROM seems to be quite popular according to the number of downloads on their download page ( https://sourceforge.net/projects/skyloft-project/files/umi/aospa/ - as seen on their telegram Xiaomi_Mi10_Series_General (not sure I can post telegram links here) - their telegram update channel is MI10U ). And it's in beta now according to the file name. Maybe I ll try it one day ...

(it apparently comes with gcam according to a comment in telegram - btw there is even a gcam_mi10 telegram ...)

(the author also offers a lineageos rom (a comment says it has 10hours SOT - not sure if it's for the vanilla or gms version) so now I am even more confused as to which ROM I should try ;) ...)

(also noticed the author has a telegram channel for his roms : chaptsand_rom )

aospa 2022/08 is totally stable. Zero bugs, good battery life and perfect performance. Use firmware 13.06 global and the included recovery to flash

thanks for the feedback !! .... did you see some comments about ChaptSand's LineageOS ROM ? is it as good ?? (I d prefer my rom to be as light as possible and LineageOS seems to be lighter than aospa ... ) ... thanks again !

Yes used It for a week or two. Lower performance but still very stable and good battery Life.
thanks. I installed lineage-19.1-20220728-UNOFFICIAL-GMS-umi.zip with fw 13.0.6.0 Global and latest Chaptsand's kernel skyloft-umi-v5.0-20220823.zip (Using Yarpiin's twrp).

(I had 1 issue with latest Yarpiin's Evolution X (touchscreen would not work sometimes in the keyboard area) ... maybe because I installed fw 13.0.6.0 CN and he recommends 13.0.4.0 CN ... )

Coming from Evolution X here are some notes after a couple of hours of usage :
. Plusses :
+ seems to work good so far, no issue, seems to be fast
. Minusses :
- USB NTFS not recognized
- missing Facial recognition
- missing estimated battery life left in quick settings (maybe I missed the configuration option, I thought LineageOS would have some kind of special options but I didn't find them ...)

Yes minuses are just lineage limitations. Los is by design very lean and has the bare minimum features. Personally i like It that way but is not for everyone.

oops : it just crashed ... need to find another rom I guess ...

PS : I might try the 2022 08 20 evolution x and stay with firmware 13.0.4 cn this time https://evolution-x.org/device/umi ... oh the file date in https://sourceforge.net/projects/evolution-x/files/umi/ is 2022 08 20 but the file name is evolution_umi-ota-sq3a.220705.004-08192244.zip ... a little bit strange but let s do it anyway ... seems to be OK when flashing : messages say the rom has been built on 2022 08 19 ...

We are very excited to announce the alpha of Paranoid Android Sapphire, based on Android 12.

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.

Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

    Notice
As we are growing on our list of supported devices in each release, we require of a stronger build environment so we can speed up the compilation process for releases. Based on the actual Quartz 4 list, we support over 30 devices, which takes between 2 and 3 days for all the builds to be completed without counting possible compilation issues or rebuild needs, based on our current specs.

We kindly ask all of you that are in position to donate anything, to help and support us so we can provide better and faster build releases, as well as increase the download speed of our servers, all looking for your enjoyment.

    You can donate here

    Device-specific issues
    [*] You tell me

There are likely many other issues, these are just the most prominent to me. Don't come into this with the expectation any issue you come across will be fixed in a timely manner.

    Requirements
Make sure to flash MIUI Stable 12.5.11 firmware before install the build.

    Downloads
You can always get our Alpha builds from ourTelegram Group or directly download them from here:
    Xiaomi Mi 10 Downloads

Note: Custom kernels are not supported unless the kernel says it supports PA and GMS is included!

    Instructions
    [1] Reboot to Recovery.
[2] Format data and wipe cache & dalvik
[3] Go to Apply update from ADB Sideload or install from twrp

If you already flashed Alpha 1 and want to update, then you can just sideload the OTA in recovery if it is avaliable, be sure use the required firmware..

h Hello, could you put a tutorial for newbies? Thank you
    1
Read some post before and a guy asked about xiaomi.eu and someone said it is possible.

I know how to read the first post by myself.
Weren't you asking if this ROM could be flashed over the latest XEU A12 weekly? And if the OP says that you need to have the XEU 12.5.10 stable (which is A11), the simple conclusion is that you are risking to brick your phone if you try it from the weekly (that has also a different TWRP).

A guy above asked about moving from XEU 12.5.10 (which is stable, not weekly, which is A11, not A12).

Do not flame, my comment was to help you, not ti insult you.
