Got my nothing phone yesterday and i'm considering this rom.
Could not find any reviews of the stable version yet.
What about anyones experience?
I want to switch over because i don't like the nothing os lockscreen. I prefer much more pixelish version.
Is this a stable daily driver, or should i wait (for better haptics etc)?
Is performance the same or even better in comparison to NOS?
Do banking apps work ootb?
Is flashing a straightforward thing coming from a13 nos?
Would like to hear this from anybody.
Thanks

Hi,
I tried several rom, latest was superior os and that's rum I've been saying it for 4 days not really a problem to note at the banking application level I managed to install my banking applications as usual and it's a pleasure to tell you every day there might be some things missing its minimalist one for me but it's an effort that the developer has made in this stable version I thank him by the way.

Is it possible to swap recents and back in this ROM at all? If not, would it be possible to add it in going forward? Thanks!
Flipping the soft buttons and a few other creature comforts were missing when I tried it. It appears as though Paranoid did not incorporate the last (?) improvement that Nothing did to their ROM, as this arrived pretty late. Hopefully they'll catch up in time. I did switch to another ROM (Xtended XT) that offers that (and a lot of other things) instead. It has its own problems, nothing being perfect of course, etc.

Unfortunately though, neither Paranoid nor Xtended seems to show much development activity at the moment, after publishing the first 'stable' releases. Though that might be just me being impatient.

It's a pretty normal thing for PA to do.. make a big announcement, drop a beta or stable and then nothing for months

I am using the STABLE version and VOLTE does not work.
The icon is displayed and the signal is received, but no data communication is made at all.

After a week of using NOS 2.0, I can say that I prefer Paranoid!
Autonomy, no difference (between 5 and 7h SOT depending on use)
    Better design on Paranoid

No bugs on either side, so there's no point in me staying with NOS

We are very excited to announce Paranoid Android Topaz, based on Android 13.

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with beautiful wallpapers from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app from the PlayStore.

Our builds are based on the Code Linaro Organization Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

    Notice

We kindly ask all of you that are in a position to donate anything, to help and support us so we can provide better and faster build releases, as well as increase the download speed of our servers, all looking for your enjoyment.
