Tried to flash but stops after command prompt shows rebooting to fastboot. ADB is up to date. Trying to flash from stock.
Is your fastboot up to date on your computer? The flash script will pause and cause several reboots during the flashing process, so you do need to sit and wait until it says it is finished. You might already know that, but saying it just in case.

I'll reinstall it but it will go from the boot loader reboot to fast boot and boot into the custom recovery but not do anything after that. I thought it may have been a pause for it to boot but I gave it a good 3-5 mins.

Hmm. It is supposed to go to the fastbootd screen, but shouldn't be hanging. I'm not aware of any custom recover on the P7P. I don't know what is causing that.

Does GPay or Personal Safety work for anyone else? I've run through all the hide root steps but cannot get either of them to work. SafetyNet checks all come back as passed but GPay won't let me add a card and Personal Safety won't let me add emergency contacts.

What I did was:
- Root with Magisk
- Hide Magisk in Manager
- Enable Zygisk
- Enable Systemless Hosts
- Configure DenyList to hide all banking apps, Play Service, Play Store, and Google Services Framework, GPay, Google Wallet, and Personal Safety
- Flash Shamiko to enforce DenyList
- Flash Universal SafetyNet Fix (modded by Displax)
- Reboot
- Clear data/cache for all denied apps/services
- Reboot again

I am not running this rom, just the stock version 13 but my 7 pro is rooted and bootloader unlocked. I installed the Universal SafetyNet Fix released by @Displax. It passes all of the YASNAC Safetynet attestation checks and I just added my debit card to google wallet as a test, no issues. I received money with Zelle earlier today aswell with no issues. I was interested in this rom but I'm also interested if it plays nicely with the SafetyNet FIx....

The Google Camera was made to run on Pixel devices, whatever HALs, libs, permissions, etc, not in AOSP already can be extracted from the device itself (and it's not a lot, lol)

My cam works just fine, if this is the first time being on a Pixel for some of you, then you're stressing about nothing, lol, Google Camera was made for Pixels.

I can't speak for this PA build because I haven't flashed it, my builds have everything stock has, plus some. I can still use my camera to zoom @ 30x, the macro works as expected, now playing, etc, etc

There's only one way to see if a custom ROM is right for you...

That's my two pennies...
So ... Will we be able to flash your build? *Smiles*

I've known you a long time Rood, I know that's not your style. Just thought you were saying you had a build without any of the issues people mentioned here, for the p7 line, so sad hoping you'd create your own thread. If not it's cool, no disrespect to all the hard work that's been done or op. More the merrier the way I see it, but I understand. Won't bring it up again!

I'm not using PA, but I've never done all of the steps listed there to get GPay to allow me to add my card.

I've ALWAYS just enabled Zygisk, used the Safety net fix(now using the new one when the old one broke), opened GPay and added my card no problem. I've never put anything in the deny list before or any of those other extra steps.

Just added my card now and the only thing I did was install the USF by Displax.

not sure which device you are talking about but P6 and P7, I always had to add app in denylist.

/////

Running PA for more than a week now without root which enables GPay and all. Pretty happy so far.
few bugs here and there but pretty solid build overall.
can't wait for next release as I am hoping that bluetooth bug(after few days of use, atleast in my Pixel bud pro, song shutters while playing) will be fixed aside from few known bugs.
thanks.

Pixel 7 Pro, as well as the Pixel 4 XL I'm coming from. It just always worked once I passed Safetynet, no extra steps needed.

With the Pixel Buds Pro, what do you mean by the song shutters? I'm using Spark, but don't think I've noticed anything weird with my Buds, but maybe I'm misunderstanding.

Would the tensor g2 be a reason to stay stock? My assumption is no, as each release for PA is based on stock libraries. Anyone have thoughts on this or have a way to verify tensor is functioning in PA?

Hi, the rom is missing the select text feature when you go into multitasking. There is a blank space where the word supposed to be.

Hi everyone! How is battery life on this? I'd heard that stock ROM has had dramatic battery life improvement with subsequent patches after launch, and I was wondering how this compares.
This hasn't been updated since November of 2001 do not flash or your phone will explode with rainbows and glitter . YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

One of the admins on telegram mentioned that they plan a build for march.

Well I flashed this to my Pixel 7 Pro.

It bootlooped for a while and then just settled on a black screen. Completely screwed.
Plug it into a PC, it comes up as a USB Serial Device (COM4).

Cannot do anything with it at all.

Wait.. Did you flash this rom which is based off of Nov firmware while probably being on stock Feb firmware??🤡

Could we get the march security update for this? Im thinking of switching back to the stock pixel rom as that security vulnerability is a really bad one.

We are very excited to announce the beta of Paranoid Android Topaz, based on Android 13.

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with beautiful wallpapers from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app from the PlayStore.

Our builds are based on the Code Linaro Organization Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

    Notice

We kindly ask all of you that are in a position to donate anything, to help and support us so we can provide better and faster build releases, as well as increase the download speed of our servers, all looking for your enjoyment.

This is VERY valuable knowledge - thank you. Camera performance is paramount for me. You just saved me hours of work and worry wiping, flashing, setting up PA and maybe Lineage, only to have to revert back to stock due to image quality issues. Hopefully someday camera source code may be made open, or maybe some of the brilliant devs out there may figure out a solution.
Don't believe him, his statement is wrong. I have already said that yesterday but seems like people just keep skipping it.

Fixed, the website didn't get updated until the threads were posted

This rom has support for OTA updates. If you plan to stick around with PA, your feedback will be appreciated on our new OTA system. We're consistently testing full and incremental OTA updates.

    Key Features

    - Face unlock support
    - A slew of Pixel exclusive features
