1. I have no issues with notifications showing on the lock screen, are you using face unlock? It's been know that face unlock code in AOSP has issues and QPR1 is expected to fix most issues when it's released

2. I've had 5G in the statusbar previously, haven't tested recently because I'm not in a 5G area. Already looking into it
Yep, disabling face unlock makes notifications show up again on lock screen

Yes, I am using face unlock. Perhaps that is the issue.

Regarding the 5G icon, thank you for looking into it. The connection that I received is indeed 5G. I tested the speed with Speedtest, and it showed a speed ranging from 750 to 970 mbps. But the icon is showing LTE. Anyway, thank you so much for your time. Cheers!

We are very excited to announce the beta of Paranoid Android Topaz, based on Android 13.

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with beautiful wallpapers from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app from the PlayStore.

Our builds are based on the Code Linaro Organization Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

    Notice

We kindly ask all of you that are in a position to donate anything, to help and support us so we can provide better and faster build releases, as well as increase the download speed of our servers, all looking for your enjoyment.

Alright guys, sorry that it took so long, had to rewrite our OTA infrastructure, but here you go

    Topaz Beta 2

    - Fixed issue where device would crash and reboot
    - Fixed long press near the edges of display
    - Fixed thermal mitigation services
    - Addressed some issues that had a negative effect on performance
    - Updated to November SPL (android-13.0.0_r12)
    - Add support for Face Unlock
    - Add support for OTA updates

Full wipe is recommended if coming from another rom. For those that plan to use PA and actually stick with it (lol) there will be OTA updates whether it be full or incremental and your feedback is appreciated

    Download from our website

all you talking bout HentaiOS is hella disrespectful.. y'all in this ROM thread so stick to the discussion regarding this ROM, not another one. How difficult is it to DM one another instead of spamming this wonderfully made ROMs thread. Y'all need to learn some common etiquette, embarrassed for y'all

    Nice surprise. Will definitely try.
A couple of us in the pixel6chat group on telegram, have noticed that running the -w command doesn't wipe everything properly.

I suggest you use the wipe option in recovery mode then flash any custom ROM / image. So flashing sequence would be: Flash Android 13 October build to both slots. Boot into Android once. Wipe in recovery. Flash ROM.

These Instructions go for all Pixel ROMs. A few seconds of preparation just to make sure the experience goes smoothly.

Also, when going through the setup wizard, I'd suggest unchecking Apps and Device Settings (or don't restore anything from Google). At least uncheck device settings and uncheck any system apps if allowed (although A13 has changed a few things in regards to restoring data).

I haven't flashed a phone since *maybe* the last of the Nexus series. Things are different, a little more involved than they used to be 😅

Anyway, this runs well so far. Very smooth. My device froze on me a couple of times last night and lasted for a couple of minutes each time. Rebooted with a message saying that "adaptive connectivity services keeps stopping." Turned off adaptive connectivity and haven't had any freezes or reboots since. Will update this post should anything else come up.
Fixed already should be ready for the next build
