Marshmallow kernels, Xposed, different fix files are different from Nougat files. So they definitely won't work.

Same problem here. I think miui doesnt support aroma installer

Use redwolf recovery .... It will work am sure

has been the only form of validation to install the gearbox, directly by twrp has not been possible any of the versions and several tested roms, only through Universal AIO Patcher has been possible.
