PC Connection issues - won't show "USB for charging" notification if connected
Hi, I'm having a weird problem.
When I connect my moto g4 plus to my pc, it charges, but there is no "usb for charging" notification. So, I cannot click on that for enabling MTP. I've already enabled USB debugging, and selected MTP as default connection method too.
And the phone doesn't seem to be recognized by neither Windows nor Linux, no mention to any new device in Device Manager or lspci.
I tried with the original turbo charger cable, and with a mint-condition data cable from my previous phone.
This is not a PC connection issue, I think the problem is in the phone. I've looked everywhere here on XDA and also on google and such. It always returns the same "minor" problems of people not knowing how to pull the notification. This is NOT the problem.
Would this be a hardware problem? Is there anything I can do about it before taking it to the warranty?
Thanks.
