PC wont recognize Galaxy S5

Before you ask, I've tried many different USB's including the one the phone came with, and I have tried installing the drivers multiple different times, and have used multiple different USB ports on my PC, including USB 3.0 and 2.0 (don't know if it makes a difference). It's also not a problem with the connector at the bottom of my phone, it will charge.

Galaxy S5 [Verizon]
SM-G900V
Version 4.4.4

I only need this because I'm trying to downgrade to 4.4.2 for root, and I can't do that if Odin won't recognize my phone.
If you have any different drivers I could try, that might be it, I've tried multiple different ones though.
I don't have a custom ROM.

Then install or reinstall kies , and see if that help you .

if that doesnt work and your rooted reflash your rom
