Per Oculus, Note 7 no longer able to use GEAR VR

Oculus has disabled the Note 7 for use in the Gear VR. They said it for safety's sake. I understand that , but wow That really does hurt! I have had the Gear VR for 3 days and now because I have a Note 7 , it is rendered useless.

Yes, only with root, is too easy!

I got root but i can't edit or change in Build.prop.
I have the Samsung Note 7 and the dr.ketan m3 rom. Superuser etc.. but I can't change. I still write the number SM-G935X but if I want to save they tell me can't write file

Just return the device already - you don't want a fire-hazard near your face. Seriously.
