Just to let everyone know, t-mobile device app unlock is now available at swiftunlocks.com for $125.
I think it's very expensive, so I'll be waiting for couple of weeks until the price goes down but if anyone's in hurry, at least we have a working solution now.

I used them to do a sim unlock on my G930T so I could use the phone on AT&T and it was less then 20 bucks. It was NOT swift however, it took a day or two.

I'm not sure why I never seem to have any issues unlocking these with the T-Mobile unlock app. I did it with my S6 and my S7 (permanent, not temporary) within a week of receiving the phones. I don't know why I even do it - I don't use anything but T-Mobile or Ting SIMs, so it doesn't matter, but I just like having the options.

Maybe it's because I order it from our corporate supplier and those phones are paid in full, or perhaps they sit around for a while...I don't know - but I've never had to wait 40 days and I've never had to pay a 3rd party.
