Smart phones are great for people hard of hearing as they can see text alerts and such.

So here's an odd question from someone doing some research...

I know Android wear have alarm that can continuously vibrate to the wrist... right? Until the wearer wakes up and dismiss or snooze the alarm.

Notifier light like linking to HUE is an option... if the user's awake. Pebble will do it too. (And indeed, most SmartWatches, if they vibrate.

Can one force the notifications to act as alarm, i.e. keep buzzing the wearer until he reacts / dismiss the notification?

I was looking at Ditto, the Kickstarter'ed notification device that has no buttons and only buzzes/vibes and that doesn't look if it will do continuous / repeating buzzes. My guess is I will need Pebble and/or Android wear and some programming on Android end like Tasker / AutoPebble.

What other options are there? And is this Persist-until-dismiss notification possible?
