Signed. I would encourage the idea of making the petition for LG in general and not specific to the V10. I think you would get more signers faster. Just a suggestion however. Good luck!

I think asking for all LG devices would be asking for too much. It would take more work for LG to send out a update to ALL phones, but just one, would be a little more work, and more likely they would do it.

I would simply like to have a root on marshmallow. I don't want to unlock bootloader. Not even because of warranty. If someone will steal my phone, then, without unlocked bootloader he will do nothing and, even a factory reset is impossible.
So, we rather need a .tot file with update. While we get a tot, we will be able to root it like lollipop. There is no reason for unlocking bootloader, we don't even have a custom kernels, not mentioning about ROMs.

Signed. All OEMS should allow it. I realize most don't do it because of agreements with US carriers(looking at you AT&T), but that agreement should allow for the owner (us) to be able to go to an LG website, enter our device SN or IMEI and get a bootloader unlock key, etc. This would be the most fair and keep the average noob from bricking. I think ATT and other carriers are concerned about hacking the network and/or installing free apps, etc.
