Petition for devs/Google/Samsung to look into GS3 battery life irregularities.

I do not understand why some people claim amazing battery life (12 to 18 hrs stand by with 5 to 6 screen on) while I and alot others are experiencing HORRIBLE battery life (10 to 12 hrs stand by with 3 to 4 screen on). My settings are optimized. Every samsung and AT&T bloatware disabled (everything im allowed to disable), rooted with stock rom, cpu sleeper, juice defender ultimate, gps off, LTE disabled, brightness at 30 - 40%, e-mail set to push, and i dont have any freeware apps. All my games and apps are paid for, no ads, besides free apps like chase and best buy, newegg, amazon, etc. If the XDA devs/ Google devs/ samsung devs could take a look at this and try to pinpoint at solution for this otherwise perfect phone, I and the many users experiencing bad battery life would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Have you ever thought maybe your phone has a faulty battery? Like try swapping the phone out for another one at the att store or w/e? My battery life is perfect, have two gsiii's in the house, both of them get phenomenal battery life like what people report on the fourms. :good:

Social media, other apps like juice defender and our user error account for a significant amount of the variation.

Also cdma users will on average have less battery as will 4g users.

My s3 is horrible as well. Before I connected my charger today I was at 8 hours, 1h8m screen on and was at 30%. Even during the first week with a completely stock phone I could not make it the whole day even when light usage. Tomorrow I'm going to try the TuchMi Rom that claims awesome battery life without resorting any of my data to try it. Only problem is I'm traveling in Iowa where I don't have LTE, so it won't be a great experiment, but it should give me an idea of whether it's the phone or battery. I plan on ordering a new battery this week to try anyway.

battery life on my Sprint version is incredible. Everything on from GPS, bt, lte, brightness up, etc.

The only time I notice less battery life is when I'm in an area with worse service. I was getting over 18 hours with 5 hours screen time but the tower was across the street. At my home it's much less.
