They have got replaceble memory modules. They can reflash the whole system or there is nvflash apx interface..

I doubt they would take apart the whole tablet to reflash the system, they probably use apx mode...

I know. Old. But I as this forum is dying, I figure that I might as well say something.
It was found that JTagging is disabled (found that file a long time ago). Flashing using UART may work though.

Does anyone still have a sony tablet s lol? I sure did love that tab. Didnt use it a whole lot tho but the IR function was tuff.

Funny enough, I still do.
Latest version of ICS, rooted and with the backdoor applied.
Seems to work fine even to this day.

I gave my tablet to my daughter as I got an Ipad Air, but after a week I traded it back as that was a big mistake to buy.
She is now happy with the swap and I still use the sony every day

Same here! Still using the Sony Xperia S Tablet. Found and signed the petition today though I don't believe anything will come of it. kind of a shame IMO because to me it is (or was) a solid device if you ignore or don't care about problems like this one.

I have a xperia tablet s that just goes in APX mode, not out the sony screen and does not go into recovery ... How can I do?

I still have the Tablet. Went ahead and signed the pettion. Took it a step further and tweeted the pettion and my own woes to all Sony @'S directly. At least someone will see it. Old devices should have thier bootloaders unlock after a certain amount of time...

They still haven't unlocked the bootloader of this tablet? It was a legit tablet to I loved mine
