Yeah you can build a custom ROM even I builder many ROMs u just need to port the ROM from device who have same chipset and same android version vivo nex is in Oreo am I right ? Then you can port Oreo ROMs only but can't build a kernel and ROM from source

Try replacing from stock to port
/lib/libsensorservice.so
/lib/hw/sensor.msmxxxx.so
for camera
/lib/hw/camera.msmxxxx.so

Have you tried opening the webpage on a desktop computer? I have issues on my phone sometimes when using a VPN.
I think we may need to change this initiative to just getting them to offer the global ROM. It's probably the best we can get and for us chineese ROM rocking folks, it will fix most of the pain we are sweating with dumbtouch OS.

My Nex S will most likely be my first and last vivo device.
At least poco (xiomi ) supports developers. Vivo and oppo are always going to be ****ty software phones , no matter how innovative and good hardware they have .

Vivo nex is dead for vivo team. They are focusing more on releasing more phones like the honor sub brand.
Definitely will be my first and last vivo/oppo device
