Almost any Qualcomm device can unlock it's bootloader by this method

U should try it

Did you try it on a NEX S Chinese ROM, flashing it successfully to the International ROM? If so, you may be the first to do it? Let me know.

Not of vivo nex but of another vivo device I want to help you guys to unlock bootloader, that's why I gave a link for you all watch it and try that methof

Thanks for your reply Ayush. Actually, the method from the video is something I tried doing.. there was one hiccup. I couldn't locate the firehose.mbn file from the Nex firmware files. There are other MBN files but not sure which one to use.

Please if any one can confirm we can flash international rom and confirm it works on the chinese version please write here.
If successful please make a new thread with detailed information how to do it.

I received an email from Vivo's customer support team saying that the global registration system will be done sometime late this year.

Yeah, I know there are issues with direct NEX S (Chinese ROM) model and the various methods used for flashing other Vivo devices. From what I've seen here and other places online, I don't think anyone has been able to do it cleanly on the Chinese ROM model.

We hit 951 signatures, but i don´t think this petition get us to our goal, vivo is so restricted to security and ****, every time i had a conversation with the vivo support they ignore my wish and don´t listen to, i mentioned, release date of android 9, custom roms, source code and what not and they don´t answered, i mentioned i have problems with the notifications on my china vivo nex s and they mailed back a tutorial how to fix the problem. so i don´t think we get ever custom roms for this beautiful piece of tech at least not from vivo. maybe some skilled smartphone hacker get open the bootloader in the future? the security on this phone is strong. every Electronic device is hackable its a matter of time!

Yeah, they seem to avoid the issue of custom ROMs, and unlocking the bootloader for us.

I've gone through tutorials, I've given all access and permissions, allowed them to show on the display, but nothing works to have them come in real time. Anyone else have this issue?

yes notifications are unreliable, you cant really trust them...

The problem is if it will ever be solved, consider that all notifciations are disabled by default, so this is how the most of the chinese users have set up their phone, benifit is superior battery life..but yeah I wonder if they put any attention to get it to work.. on the global rom the notifications are more higher priority.

Chinese rom also seem to understand when I put apps in chromecast mode, it shuts them down for instance youtube...

Well the thing is, a YouTube user showed that it's rooted in the permission section of the phone, not even in the allow notifications. So he said that once you give the apps permission, they'll show. And that worked to an extent, but they don't come in real time, they just show up randomly. I've checked the phone through and through, changed all the setting I could find, and it didn't work the way it should. It's as if there is a "pull" or refresh setting that needs to be changed, but I can't find it. They come in randomly, like the setting is activated on the spot.

Mine just popped with a completely different version number and mine is Chinese also.
