AW: [Petition - ONLINE] NVFlash on JB bootloader - ONLINE!!

seems like Asus doen't want to answer me anymore

may anybody else contact them? Preferably somebody that has good grammar and has a bit knowledge of it ;)
It's not like your grammar isn't good enough :-o

What should we tell them? Other than point towards the petition.

Signed. I was fortunate enough to install NVFlash before i upgraded, but everyone deserves to use their device how they want, especially when you take into account, that it's the customers support and money that drives ASUS to be able to make these devices in the first place.

Checked that daily since I contacted them. Only thing it says is that it has not been answered yet. Not that this was obvious to me

Unlocking the bootloader is possible and it's not what we wanna achieve with this petition. What we want is to enable nvflash (you can read about it in my signature) which would be some sort of brickproof and could restore your bricked tablet even if you have a corrupted bootloader or whatever bad things there could be.
It was once possible on tf300 with ICS since it was a different bootloader. As ASUS updated to JellyBean it came with a new bootloader which prevented this nvflash.
So this petition is about to revert changes which have been made in the bootloader from ICS to JB in order to get nvflash working.

If I may.
My understanding we want access to apx which is built into the cpu by the manufacture. It is intended to be used to recovery your tablet if you have problems. Asus has locked and signed access to this function with the jb bootloader. This prevents access to functions intended by the manufacture for the end user. Not a fair practice by Asus.
If I'm incorrect I'm sure someone will correct me and provide proper detail but this is my understanding.
Thanks to everyone who has voted and will vote!

Just the usual drivel. They're anxious to listen to their customers and answer their mails and so on - it's in "treatment" :D
