Petition to fix ICS & JB camera cam. jitter

As you all know the ICS and JB Roms are having issues with 4.0+ camera video not working properly. When cam. is set to 720p, it begins to jitter when used in outdoor bright light conditions and causes poor video performance. I am asking you to sign this petition to let Samsung know we are waiting patiently for a fix. Your signature can make a difference. Thank You for your time

Infuse 4G Gingerbread Roms. work great in video Cam performance (480 &720p) but when you advance into Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean then there are kernel problems, so I am trying to get Samsung to recognize this problem and fix it soon so we all can enjoy camera quality like you enjoy on your Gingerbread I am a Infuse 4G owner and there are many Dev's that have put together nice ICS and JB Roms for us to enjoy in our Infuse 4G smartphones.

Okay first off i believe i believe reinbeau told you to stop with this petition back in the CM10.1 thread:

The petition discussion is over. One report is all it should have taken, not seven different blasts that had to be cleaned up. Development only please. Carry on.

I realize it was in a development thread which lead to this but non-the-less this needs to stop.

Second off: you got the Android version wrong on the petition itself which wouldn't help your case any even if Samsung did decide to bring a phone back from the dead wasting their money and time with no profit in return. ICS is 4.0.x not 4.2.x

I understand you desire for full 720p video recording as most every infuse owner who is on 4.0+ wants the same thing but Samsung will not use valuable resources, time, and money to fix a kernel on a phone that is considered out of date and that shouldn't even be running any version of Android 4 in the first place. It is not in their best interests to work on something that will not create a profit or some kind of return for them. So please drop this petition crap and move on. Let's focus on work-arounds for this problem instead of chasing false hopes and dreams.

I made the correction to 4.0+ so thanks but I just want to give it a try and see if Samsung could make the correction anyway and it does not hurt to try. So stop the rebuke and work with those that would like to see this fixed for it should have never taken them so long to fix this in the first place. Samsung Infuse 4G owner and proud of it If I leave town and go on a trip or something and I want to take videos, I will go back to bigfau Rom Aeon1.4SL for that is a great Gingerbread Rom and of course the Camera works perfectly

Yeah...sorry to be another one to burst your bubble...but the petition will not do anything...even if every infuse owner in the world signed it.

As far as Samsung is concerned this device is dead. You have already voided any warranties and contracts with Samsung when you rooted it...

Also...even if Samsung wanted to fix camera for us...they would have to release a whole new 4.x.x ROM to accommodate the fix...they wouldn't just put out a kernel and no official ROM to utilize it.

Sadly we live in a world driven by money and the greed caused by money. If they're is no profit to be gained then they will not do what we want. If they kept upgrading our current devices we would never buy a new device. If we never bought a new device the company would go bankrupt. So you see its all part of there business plan..give us one update to keep us loyal/happy while on the two year contract but that's it...they want you to buy their new device after that

So basically...why would Samsung want to help people who are not even running their official firmwares? You'd have better luck starting a petition for an official ICS firmware...don't start that cause that's also a hopeless lost cause...

Thanks for your kind remarks, I just wanted to try to do something to help us Infuse 4G owners but yes your are right but at least I wanted to try and help in anyway I could to make Samsung feel there job is not complete with Samsung Infuse 4G. Take care and appreciate all you said

BTW, I totally understand what your trying to do...I think we all do and would really love if this actually worked...

I second this 100%. It would be nice for Samsung to keep all of their customers happy by keeping things up to date but sadly its too much for them and they must focus on the future of not only their company but also the future of mobile devices.

not only that, there "source" is total ****, when they finally gave us GB (which we had working better than they would ever hope to make it months before hand thanks to our excellent devs) you couldnt even navigate through the phone, we are doing better off without their help, and we always have been
