Please let us know your current bootloader version, check with THIS app and then we will know which firmware should work for you.

I downloaded this N7100XXUFNI4 and now my phone works halfway. I already have IMEI, 004900xxxx. I am now in 4.4.2 but based on my search here, I need to have a 4.2 so I can reflash my old modem with GT-N7100_XXDME4_Modem as it says it will restore my IMEI #. Question is where I can get a downgrade of N7100XXUFNI4 to 4.2? I already downloaded N7100XX**** 4.2 in HongKong but the ODIN Mode says, "SW REV. Invalid magic string."

Nearly all downgrade depends on bootloader first. Tell me your bootloader version and then I or some1 else can help as I am on holidays in a foreign country with decent internet and additional costs.

Don't waste your time searching for that 4.2 as it will fail in Odin bcoz of your 4.4.2 bootloader.

EDIT:
Reading back a few posts I suggest to download latest international version OC2 and flash that one through Odin -> LINK
cause downgrade to OC2 works in my tests.

Hi Sir. After several ODIN flashes of OC2, it finally succeed. Thanks a lot. EFS already shown when I am going to backup through TWRP. Would it be possible if I can rewrite edit my efs.img and put in my IMEI manually?

After that successful flash of OC2 you should have your IMEI already back
BTW: Just for confirmation -> your bootloader is now OC2, right?

Yes, I have OC2 Bootloader already but I still got generic IMEI, Sir. So I just wonder if I can manually put in my true IMEI into nv_data.bin. I already have IMEI converted to HEX but don't know what specific line should I put that in data.bin file. Thank for attending me on this, Sir.

Try the patched modem first LINK
Moreover I hope you really have an N7100 cause I don't know what's happening.

What AW said..are you sure you have n7100??? Maybe its LTE version??

Yes, I have the N7100 unit which installed with this Phantom ROM before it crashes. It's been with me for at least 3 years and no plan of letting go The tiny free iPhone on my new data/call Plan is just not worth to change my Note 2 but the subscribed plan service is great though.

I tried to flash the modem via TWRP but still same. I also use the Kies 3 and no change on my IMEI as well. Already spent 2 weeks on this one trying to install/patch whatever downloaded programs that I can find everyday but it's no effect as of now.

OT: I love your Nemesis ROM. 12 hours with games and all time WiFi just took me 25% battery.

Hi Sir, just an update. I finally recovered my IMEI by using Z3X Box from a phone tech but I still got 'Not registered to network' error so I flashed the modem from your link. Everything is great at the moment and thanks a million times for the great help.

Better if u use TWRP expecialy the 2.8.5.0 version. About the grid size ...Use Nova Launcher and sure you don't return back.... Regards
