what does it say in Settings -> About phone
It's in Greek so I will try to "describe":

Right under the line of the version (4.0.4)

It says N7000XXLRB.

Then writes the kernel (which is no indication since I already use speedmod kernel (and I want to change).

The last line writes IMM76D.XXLRI.

---
UPDATE:
In any case I already tried to install PhilZ-cwm6-XXLRI-AUT-3.99 using the stock recovery method (from SD card).
It said that it installed successfully, but I don't see any indication that the kernel is installed!
Now in kernel version it says:
3.0.15-N7000XXLRI-CL811902
[email protected] #3
SMP PREEMPT Wed Jul 11 20:04:41 KST 2012

Remember my previous kernel was speedmod, so how can I now be in a stock kernel?

Also pressing volume up + home + power, DOES NOT go to recovery mode and boots the phone normally.

Can you help me? What happened?

I think you should open a new Q&A thread and copy/paste all your stuff you have already posted here..
This really isn't the appropriate place for this, and you will get more help in Q&A.
Please PM me the link once you have done that...

Somewhere in Oz...
@NLS
1. Check apps to see if superuser is there. If so flash has been successful.
2. Philz kernel is stock based so looking at settings, it will appear as if you are on stock.
3. Power phone off, then use 3 button combo to get into Philz recovery. (you will see a HUGE difference from stock Android)
4. You are now safe - flash whatever you like:D
5. If you still have problems, go to Q&A like @asf58967 has suggested.

From post #3 in this thread, I think you would be using:

<< 05.05.2013 - PhilZ-cwm6 v5.00.4 with CWM 6.0.3.1 based recovery >>
DDLSC - DXLSE - JPLSB - XXLSZ - XXLT4 - ZSLO2 Fixed for bootloop

because your stock kernel build ends in LSZ. I use it with my Note I that has LT4 installed.

hello

i need help,my baseband version is N7000XXLT3 and i can not find kernel for that baseband, can some help me and tell what kernel i can download for my phone?
Not an expert. But I think it is the build number, not the baseband number that is important here. For example, I am running a stock Samsung 4.1.2 ROM. Its build ends in XXLT4 and its baseband is XXLT3.

Hey man... No offense but you are very confused. Do not flash this kernel on CM. You do not need o flash a safe kernel...CM kernel is safe...
Furthermore, you should do some more reading before you break your phone by accident.

i install [JB][4.2.2] Official CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies, and i want to know what safe kernel i can download for my phone?
how can i choose kernel?
how can i know what kernel is for my phone?

can someone help me and tell me what is my build number?

Hi

I've recently installed Philz kernel v5.00.5 XXLSZ-OXA in place of my stock XXLSZ-XEO kernel. Most of the time my Note works fine but every now and then it freezes (especially when using a demanding app). For a couple of seconds I can still hear my app in the background but I can't touch anything on the screen (capacitive buttons, home button and power button do not work either). After about 20-30 seconds Note reboots and bootloops at Samsung logo. Pressing and holding power button reboots Note again and it powers on correctly. This has never happened to me before on stock kernel but now I've experienced this issue at least 10 times in the last 7 days.
Is it safe to install different, newer version (like XXLT6) or is there any other solution that I just can't seem to find in this thread?

Thanks a lot

I have to say that I experienced similar issues and think it was on LSZ as well. I have since updated my device to LT4 and matched a Philz kernel to it. I do not recall any similar problems since doing so. I have no idea what caused it or what fixed it. Just reporting what I found. Good luck.
