Just like to know, currently running stock N7000ZSLR1_N7000OZSLR1_TGY (Through odin)
Can I still use the PhilZ-cwm6-ZSLO2 ?

Should I flash it back to ZSLO2 before flashing PhilZ's kernel?

Edit: It works.
(Not sure if it would cause any problem if you are just looking for stock with root though, as I install CM10.1 right after)

Recovery updates automatically after flashing new ROM

I managed to install philz recovery successfully from my stock ROM.

Then I flashed CM 10.1 ROM. I noticed that recovey has been updated to original CWM.(Which has less options, no touch)

Philz recovery has been wiped off automatically/

Is there anyway we can lock the recovery software so that it won't get overwritten every time flashing a ROM?

No. On the N7000 it resides with the kernel.

In that case what if I remove the boot.img(ie kernel) from the cutom rom zip file.

Given that I already have a kernel which supports cm Roms + a better recovery interface
I think philz does have a verson for CM, I personally try yet, not sure how it performs.
Just flash over it. *Every time you update CM, it will revert back to CWM non-touch recovery.

And it is recommended to use the one that comes with CM, or else if you have any problem, don't even bother reporting it to CM.
