i have an s2 (gt i 9100) and am running custom roms on it. recently got hold of a note (n7000) and want to root it.

i am a noob for this phone, could you please give me a link to a philz kernel that i can download for my note? I DID NOT FIND ONE MATCHING MY PHONES BUILD NUMBER.

i did but those links mention much more than just ddlsc. they have long names, mine doesnt , should i still download those?

There is a link in post 3 which is for TW kernel. Open that link and find the latest ddlsc.

So what is tw and cm? and the tw latest files are available upto 5.x is it ok? sorry for noobish questions.

Check forest-helloworld kernel. OP has updated it to latest Philz.. Still not sure if thats a SELinux compatible recovery.. Else flash raw r4/r5 and then flash Kitkat.

My port was just PhilZ Touch 5. Could not make PhilZ Touch 6 to work yet. Please use raw. Cheers.

PA 4.4, same procedure for all KK roms.

hi guys , sorry to be a bother once again. installed raw r5 kernel via zip no issues, but was not able to flash either cyanogenmod 11 or pa 4.0 via zip, kept giving errors both with internal sd and ext sd. managed to flash lta kernel back, but looking for a rom so my phone is at least working again

Flash raw r4 and flash cm11 again or flash a cm10.1 or a custom tw rpm

I was on JB dont know how my device is bricked. can't goto recovery. If i try to install philz it stuck on NAND WRITE START. My device is bricked please help..
