STOCK ICS (MOVISTAR CHILE)

-PDA: N7000UBLR3
-PHONE: N7000UBLR1 (Baseband version)
-CSC:N7000TFGLR2
-Build info: Fri Jul 13 19:42:51 KST 2012

-Kernel version: 3.0.15-N7000UBLR3-CL890184
[email protected] #3
SMP PREEMPT Fri Jul 13 20:10:47 KST 2012
-Build number: IMM76D.UBLR3

Not sure if PhilZ-cwm6-UBLR3-PSN-2.7-signed coud be the right file due with CSC or something else.
Can I still use KIES/OTA in future since I'm not so familiar with Odin yet?

Other questions. After root, can I still unlock the simcard to use phone elsewhere (providers/country) or I must do it before setting the full root/safe kernel? What can I do to use my phone in other specific country like Argentina next year?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my rusted english and noob questions.
UBLR3 is the file you need

Weird issue!

Hey guys,

I was on stock ICS 4.0.4 with Speedmod K13 when I came across this wonderful kernel; hence, I flashed it using the PC odin. Now, I've this strange problem to say the least: all my websites including facebook upon opening talk to me. I've tried everything including hard reset, but not able to stop these annoying voice prompts! What did I do wrong?:crying:
Baseband: N7000XXLRK
CSC: N7000XEULP5

I used this file to flash: http://www.mediafire.com/file/zsvbgruzob4a9ia/PhilZ-cwm6-XXLRK-XEU-2.7.tar.md5

Please help

Flashing Philz is same as flashing stock(-brickbug). Maybe its an app behaving badly. Weird:confused:

This sounds like an ICS Talkback bug that can affect you if you use apps like Light Flow or Tasker.

http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=23105

It can actually affect you if you use Samsung's voice system too.

Yes indeed! Philz 4.0.4 kernels do in fact work on ICS 4.0.3 (makes them go better actually) I flashed Philz LR9 on top of original 4.0.3 LPY German release.and it made it go BLAZINGLY FAST!

Stock or custom, no problem at all. In fact flashing Philz from custom will remove old superuser and install latest SuperSu
What about busybox?
I have installed busybox free from market. Shall or may I delete it?
LRQ custom ROM and Philz LRT 2.7 kernel installed.

Question:
Some pages ago you posted kernel' pictures with big letters. Do you have plans to incorporate it?

After installation from recovery Philz LRT 2.7 (downloaded 13.10.2012) I saw standard size font and version shown:
CWMR Touch 6.0.1.4 - Philz
CWM Touch 1.5 (not so sure for exact words)

Should't be shown 6.0.1.5?

No need to busybox. It is part of recovery. Path is /sbin/busybox

New kernel is on the way with updated cwm 6.0.1.5, but will take sometime. Busy in life so can spend less time on it, but still daily coding it...
