Request :
If your kernel is not listed above, OR you want to request when new ROM released, post your request with
ROM build version, CSC code as well better if you port zImage file and upload. this will make easy for developer.
Whatever request i see, will update here to this post so Phill can easily locate it. So before posting request, make sure this post doesn't have pending request already for kernel you are looking for.
Since it is 4.0.3, is it affected by brick bug? On the i9100, this started with 4.0.4, not sure for the n7000. dr ketan could confirm...I have come here to root to solve the loss of copy paste function after 11 months of usage. Seemed to occur when I was using Voice recorder in the background and copying text in Chrome. I seem to have loss previously working USB mounting to my Win 7 PC as Portable Device. Now I don't even get the option when I use USB utilities to Connect storage to PC. Don't want to factory reset, and don't want to hard brick my Note either with CWM.zip. Came here but could not find the exact match to my Kernel either. Still hopeful. Details from About Phone:
Android version 4.0.3
Baseband version N7000XXLR1
Kernel version
3.0.15-N7000ZSLPF-CL558430

Is there a kernel close enough for me to use in the listed download files?
Sorry I don't know how to port zImage file and upload nor could I find link from here to further elaborate.
Thanks for the great work and advancement in making Rooting so easy. I can't wait to do so.
Alas...:crying:All ics rom have brick bug on note1.
OTA checks shows no updates available. A few days ago, however, I got a notification for update. I did not have automatic update checked. I postponed until I could be plugged into power supply. As I was about to update, the notification disappeared and I have not been able to get OTA again.Since it is 4.0.3, is it affected by brick bug? On the i9100, this started with 4.0.4, not sure for the n7000. dr ketan could confirm...
Can you update with OTA to latest kernel for your region?
If really in trouble, I can get it from sammobile and release a patched kernel for you
edit: ok, confirmed by many that 4.0.3 is also affected in Note, sadly
