Hi Phil,

I know this has been asked many times before but was just wondering if you have any intention in the near future to implement fast USB charge? With regards compiling and decompiling the kernal, do you have any links that you would know of which would allow me to add in the fast USB charge to your kernal or any other recommendation you have?

Many thanks,

R

If you find how to add it without recompiling a kernel, let me know and I will add it ;)

I dont know if this has been asked before, but I see a lot of lags with this kernel. I dont see them with HC, but the battery life of Philz kernel is much better, and HC, not so good:(

Is there a version of Philz kernel that tries to do something in between? I understand it means lesser battery life than the one currently available, but something in between the two would be nice, with a small or no amount of lag and battery life somewhere in between, maybe an OC version of Philz or something along those lines.

Just a suggestion:)

this is a stock kernel, performance is stock, nothing changed. Samsung 100% stock + patched binary

I feel it had that balance you are asking for..
Im on sweet romv4 +philz LRU!
I would say the perfornance is matchable with HC and battery is average as one could expect!

Pressing the thanks button requires just few seconds and a heart n mind that feels satisfied :D

So~ for rooting ICS stock rom which method is recommended?
I`m kinda confused!!!

CF-Root: [24sept12]How to Root/Unroot Samsung Galaxy Note + CWM
or
PhilZ-cwm6 vs:[17.10.2012][PhilZ-cwm6] v2.7N * Safe Stock Kernel+CWM6, No BrickBug, Root - LPN...

Thanks.

Both work equally well, but PhilZ is much faster and you have a safer recovery once rooted.
