ok, thanks, i am going to try PhilZ method.
Go to settings/about phone/build number (down the bottom) - last 3 letters. Or post screenshot if still not sure about which Philz kernel to use.

no problem, but really, always take care before flashing, mainly in odin...
You can go into big trouble sometimes

PS: that's one reason I did not release a kernel dumper for requests till now. When I download myself, from a trusted member or official links, I am sure I do not release wrong kernels for the public... and end with mass issues...

I think anyone uploading kernel dumps should accompany it with a screenshot of settings showing build number and kernel version

@dr.ketan and shoey63

I am sending you a PM with the last build in progress 1.47

It has many new features mainly:
- GUI customization
- Openrecoveryscript support for goomanager

I do not need testers for the i9100, but only for the note GUI part

It would be great if you can test the new MISC / GUI menu:
  • 1 - Compare font used in this version to the one in stock version (I send you both links)
  • 2 - the vibration toggle
  • 3 - the menu height 4 settings toggle: real time change to menu height.
  • 3b - Also, please, hit the About button for each menu height setting from 1 to 4 and tell me if the text overlaps the bottom buttons or if there is too huge space between log text and bottom bar
  • 3c - By the way, toggle settings sould be saved after reboot and recovery restart
  • 4 - the new touch interface (still a bit hybrid, but next step is making it full touch that can be toggled on/off)
  • 5 - Home button working to select, in addition to power button
  • 6 - Less important as it should work same as i9100: flash a zip (kernel or any flashable zip) in goomanager, from sdcard and external_sd
Good pic shots would be appreciated, if you can

If you are busy, feel free to open a beta testers query here and send them the link as I will be away until this night

The Touch toggle is still not implemented, it will be after full touch support added

Big thanks for all your support to the Note community

OK no problem. Trying it out now. Interesting to say the least! Will get some Pics up in a while...
Pic is great, but mainly if you can answer points above would help me a lot continuing it for Note.

As I have said battery was just 12% cudn't manage all test
But I can say, Fon'ts are very clear and big
Menu height is fine (not over lapping in default setting)
All virtual button tested are working fine
Pictures are attached in previous post.

Thanks a lot. I see that default menu hight (setting 2) leads to text over bottom line on the n7000. I would need shots of setting 1 and 4
Also, dr.ketan, font is different between stock and mine? Any quick answers about points i asked for in previous post?
Big thanks again
