Flash from recovery for Root access? He mean for LS2 Original leak from today.

That's exactly what i meant. I will be flashing jb leak from samobile and after that will have stock kernel. Well require phil kernal for root access.

Do i rename the kernel file to flash it from stock recovery?
Will it increase the flash counter?

I just do not get you
It is like any other kernel: you flash leaked ROM, and then flash my kernel in recovery, that's it
Unless they locked recovery and you get signature fail check

I flashed Philz 2.7 DDLR9 Kernel with my Stock ICS 4.0.4 DDLR9
Is it possible to restore which i backup by using hydracore 4.3b kernel?
or i need to take backup for Philz kernel [i didnt install CWM recovery - whether its needed to backup from philz]

Post links to your boot animations, and the philz kernel version + ROM you use

Many new cm animation do not work for some phones and stock kernels, keep that in mind
I also saw they have a newer bootanim reader, maybe I would give it a try if you give more details and links

Stock rom XXLS2 with stock kernel and unrooted from sammobile.
then flash the philz kernel from pcodin. This will not increase the flash counter? ?

pc odin will raise the flash counter. but this kernel can be flashed using stock recovery which do not raise the counter

One more info you can give me: that bootanimation you want works on my ICS kernels? Or is it only an issue with JB kernel?

I have a second hand note I just bought. I have installed Philz-ccwm6 so have a safe kernel. What I would like to do is a complete wipe of the phone and install a different country stock rom. Something that is all in english. I did do a factory reset from cwm but phone starts in Thai. what do I need to do? Can it be flashed from cwm or do I need to use odin? do I need to uninstall cwm if so how? please advise!

if you want to install a stock rom, you need to use pc odin
Download the rom of your choice and use Odin to flash it. This will remove root and cwm as well.

ok followed as you said installed GB but getting force closes at welcome screen try to wipe/reset in recovery. it asks for a password? have no idea what that password is.

Yeah...it was working .But unfortunately most of the boot animation I use in jb will give me only a black screen .I can confirm the boot animation is fine because it works on s3(of course with mismatched resolution).

My question is rather: take that specific bootanimation and try it on my philz ics kernel. Does it work? If yes, it could be i only have to change bootanimation binary. Without, testers, i wont be able to fix it as i have no Note and no jb leak for s2 i can test

e.g: Extract zImage file of HydraCore and replace it with the one in signed.zip...

In the recovery mode its asking for a password? never heard of it
