Here's a "quick" release
They changed a bit some files, so had to look at it manually. Will need to adapt a bit my builder
I should fixed bootanim, it was related to the init.rc changes fooling my builder. Hope now it works or let me now

I included new PhilZ Touch II, please test the new touch engine if it fixed previous issues

BEFORE FLASHING: Delete any /data/philz-cwm6 folder please

If all is ok, I will release it in a packed rooting zip

XXLS7 kernel booting fine on XXLS2 rom (RocketRom JB v1). But bootanimation stays black.

report about touch recovery
Just enable Touch setting in menus and try it
It should have fixed all previous issues

shoey63: report the best touch sensitivity setting please. After that, I will make an automated setting based on menu height and device screen resolution/dpi

/system/bin/bootanimation

So, if you do not have any file there, it will not work
Also, try to put a custom boot animation in

/data/local/bootanimation.zip

and let me know if it works

Sadly, no JB leaks for i9100 and I do not have a Note to test these JB samples, so I need testers that follow a bit of my instructions to fix it. Also, I did not look deeply at all possibilities as it I need to test each possibility one by one

If you want me to fix it, just give more details:

1. is stock jb bootanimation working on stock jb kernel?
2. is there any file under

   /system/bin/bootanimation

3. try a custom bootanimation that you know works for the Note. Put it here

   /data/local/bootanimation.zip

   and let me know if it works under my XXLS7 kernel

/system/bin/bootanimation
and
/data/local/bootanimation.zip

shows up the same black screen

when boot animation is in /system/bin/bootanimation , the stock samsung bootanimation shows up

It is working with your XXLS2 kernel, but not with your XXLS7 kernel.

Yes, and the file size is 21792 bytes.

try a custom bootanimation that you know works for the Note. Put it here: /data/local/bootanimation.zip

I never had a custom boot animation, so better somebody else should check this.

my question is : Which kernel should i choose cause i read all op i cant find any at my phone

I do not think other issues with stock bootanimation are related to my kernel as I only change the launch precedence in init.rc and keep same rights

Need only confirmation that customboot animation and animation changer do work, but they should if stock works

what do you mean? Either be on the kernel that came with the rom or hydracore v7
