Just sent eybee1970 a repacked NON PATCHED version of the next to come v3.71 kernel

See change log on github meanwhile
https://github.com/PhilZ-cwm6/philz_touch_cwm6/commits/master

By tomorrow I will update most ICS+JB kernels with last patched versions

Note: I just edited github source so that my recovery can be built from source for any device supported by cm10

Ok feedback time. Yesterday I reflashed eyebee's ROM. Did full wipe with LSA 3.65 beforehand. (I normally use LR9 2.7 - long time proven flashing kernel for me). What I noticed was that my name I put on the lockscreen was still there! It should have disappeared after the full wipe and reflash !?!

So your wipe missed something. You need to format /system if rom doesn't do it. Can anyone upload eybee updater-script so that I can look at it?

Shoey, got your point with goomanager. Took me a while to figure it. It works great that way. I will update guide. This is good news

As I've read about the incomplete wipes, I made a test performing wipe data and format system. All data was gone as supposed to do.
But I was able to create a bootloop by starting Aroma FM, doing some changes in the settings menu, exiting and rebooting the phone.
Tried to replicate a few times, but it didn't happen again.
But after all, no problems with LSA. It is very stable, no reboots or fcs.

Cheers, Markus

My procedure for ROM installation is as follows:
/Format/cache
/format/data
/format/system
/format/preload, And then
/mount/cache, data, system and preload.
Flash ROM.
Can't get a cleaner install that way. (I will try to replicate later)
Re: kernel safety. Whilst I may have proved by wiping on CWM.zip that Samsung has patched stock JB kernel to suppress "secure erase". It does not prove "non-secure" erase is100% safe. Even Entropy still has his doubts.
Re: Goomanager. Glad you worked it out. :)App is still flawed but my workaround makes it work perfectly:thumbup:

No issue here with same setup. In fact, never had any issue with Philz kernel so far.
