Really this is excellent kernel but I think CWMManager.apk is not ready yet as it doesn't support increment backup and the backup is stored in internal memory instead of external memory (no marker error)...
As I can see from post #2, Philz had removed CWMManager installer, hopefully he will try to fix it.. apart from that I didn't notice any issue..

What kernel are you using? What ROM also?
The recovery version is the 6.0.1.4 non touch?
Do you have a working sdcard + ext_sd?
Post the recovery logs too (/cache)
Log from mount command in terminal too

If nothing fixes it, try a clean install in odin (wipe data and cache) of a full ROM to erase /system. Maybe mounts issues from older ROMs/kernels

Great kernel you got. Thank you, finally a custom kernel with boot animation support! One question: Is restoring a nand backup safe with this kernel? Given the fact that the malicious command is disabled it should be right? You don't need to tell me that there is no guarantee. I know that. But in theory it's safe?

Yes it is disabled, even it has double security, mmc erase cap command is disabled from recovery as well from kernel too.
From op....
PhilZ-cwm6 has patched kernel to disable MMC_CAP_ERASE : you can wipe/format in cwm6 safely
CWM 6 is also natively brickbug proof on wipe /data even on non patched kernel

edit: cross post, will look at the logs you posted above

Please fill these:

- Kernel exact file version? (even if it should not be the issue since all is built in same script and others have it working int+ext sd, include me)
- ROM if custom non stock?
- Post the recovery logs too (/cache)
- Log from mount command in terminal too

If nothing fixes it, try a clean install in odin (wipe data and cache) of a full ROM to erase /system. Maybe mounts issues from older ROMs/kernels

CWM uninstall side effects

I used your zip to remove CWM. It worked, but with annoying side effects: my wallpaper came back to stock, my wifi WAP key was erased ... maybe other things that I did not find yet.

Drunk ?

Were you drunk?

It can't be except if /system was not correctly remounted on reboot, but your phone would not boot...
Not drunk :fingers-crossed:.
Anyway I do'nt see how my ethyl rate would affect execution of a script on my pnone.
Just reporting what happened to my phone.
It booted.

Good night !

Is it fixed now?
As you see, the script does not have anything to affect you in that way.

Request :
If your kernel is not listed above, OR you want to request when new ROM released, post your request with
ROM build version, CSC code as well better if you port zImage file and upload. this will make easy for developer.
Whatever request i see, will update here to this post so Phill can easily locate it. So before posting request, make sure this post doesn't have pending request already for kernel you are looking for.

Pending Request

Report :
As we know this kernel is pure stock kernel + patched mmc earse command + edit Ramdisk

so, posting regarding score(card:))of ubuntoo (watever it call :p) or quadrant score have nothing to do. Battery management/performance will same as on stock kernel.
Again input battery statistics or comparing with other custom kernel having no meaning. B'coz this is stock kernel and it will be same as stock kernel, no more no less. So kindly avoid such kind of discuss
. Right now Phill have not indicate to add tweak to kernel, so no meaning to put request for under/overclocking and so and so. For this you always have choice for custom kernel, there are already nice custom kernels are available on development section. This is only for people want pure stock kernel but patched brick bug with added recovery function. That's it.
Hope we never need moderator to look into this thread to clean.
Thanks for co operation and Wish you happy flashing.
My baseband version is N7000XXLRB, is there any Phil-zCWM6 odin for me?
