Phil you have no idea how happy I am thanks to you! :D I thought that I will have to struggle with my backups on internal card forever even though I have 64GB external card! THANK YOU FOR THE EXFAT SUPPORT!!! HAIL TO THE KING! :D

Good to know that there are overclocking apps out there that do what Phil3759 has vowed never to do. BTW Phil, is there a command that you know of that will symlink apps that are placed in pre-load? (using Aroma terminal in recovery for example)

Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
That's linux base shell
Code:
su
ln -s /preload/symlink/system/app/file-name.apk /system/app/file-name.apk
This should create a symlink of the app from /preload to /system

It will also work in terminal from main system, but you need to mount /system as rw instead of ro (use root explorer as it makes it easier than terminal)

I have no idea. I do not oc. Maybe samsung enabled some settings in jb source to make oc possible...

the OC and UV is not done at the app level but kernel level so this means the same app can be used with your releases too !

i used this feature on my HTCs - i have an open mind about it and its good to be aware of your options and how far you can push your device....but I

havent felt the need on my Note.

Shoey, looks like you are serious about your cullinary skills ? You gonna ask me to test your first rom release ?

And I'd help for sure, but expect to have a free day life or cut on your sleeping...

No 3.72 with exFAT support as I am working on it to support i9300 and dedicated recovery partition phones. Needs some more testing and code polishing. Busy next days too, so slowing down the dev
I thought the S3 (and Note 2) already support exFAT? If so, what are the chances of us getting it in the JB update for the Note 1 (along the fixed black clipping those Sammy devs said will be working on) :p

So... You are trying to make the exFAT support work on the Note, as well?

I never counted the thanks, but I see right now 3000.

For me, it is a big reward as I understand from it that people like my job. Enough for me to enjoy continuing this crazy hobby
Leave the Note 1 dev community, buy a new phone... And we'll all kill oursevles. Haha.

No, seriously. The Note 1 is being ditched :( . Hope you will not do the same. Thanks for your hard work :D .
