Thanks! Wasn't aware of this.
The link does points to the Incremental OTA instead of the Full OTA. That needs to be adjusted or perhaps a separate expandable area where incremental OTA is listed. Will wait for Sib64 to come from holiday.

Hi guys, i'm in EEA version, i got just the main 1.1.4 OTA like two weeks ago, but i haven't received any hotfix after that. Should i sideload the EEA hotfix available here?

    Thank you!

Sorry but have you searching before posting!
Can I invite you to search a little bit more ?
    Your request is useless!
Sorry but what's the problem? I just asked if it's recommended to sideload the EEA hotfix since I haven't received it, nothing more, it's not even a request

Where can i find 1.1.4 Patched Magisk Boot?

You must waiting for the Full OTA, for extract and patch it from Magisk.
Actually from Incremental OTA, Boot is not properly extracted.

    OK thank You.
So I can't root untill there will be available boot.img for 1.1.4?
I was on 1.1.0 (with root), I jumped to 1.1.3 with Full OTA and then to 1.1.4 with Upgrade; I lost my root with these steps. Can I use a boot.img of 1.1.3 or I have to wait the 1.1.4 boot.img? Thanks

Exactly. You can try to use the patched boot 1.1.3 if boot work, with the :

    Code:
    .\fastboot boot MagiskBoot_PatchedFiles_XXX.img

No Risk, if it boot, good [*], if not... just reboot, your 1.1.4 stock is used.

[*] After that if you boot with success, you must go in Magisk :
    - Install > Direct Install (Recommanded)

Do that will flash (not only boot) with your Patched Boot file 1.1.3
    2
This is the boot.img backed up from Magisk... should be stock...

What are the regional variants of Nothing OS ?

Nothing offers two distinct regional variants of Nothing OS.
    • Intended for European countries is the "EEA" version, as it meets the requirements of the European Privacy Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
    • The other version, the so-called "Global Version" is intended for Asian and Australian devices.
You can easily control the regional setting of your Phone(1) by going to your Shell terminal or Android emulator (e.g. Fuss) and executing the following command:
    Code:
    getprop ro.product.system.name
    • This command will return "SpacewarEEA" if the device is delivered with the European firmware.
    • For International models, the result should be "Spacewar" only.

Thanks for the tip! This did the trick, and I'm now happily re-rooted on 1.1.3 :) I was not even aware of the local system update wizard...

    Yes :
    1/ Flash Full ROM Update
2/ Reboot normally (no risk, no EDL/Brick possibility)
3/ Boot normally System/OS, no root
4/ Run Magisk > Patch new boot 1.1.3 (you can know extract/found boot.img) on this thread
5/ Take the Patched Magisk Boot
6/ Boot on Bootloader mode (Fastboot) > Flash Magisk Boot
I advise to always flash magisk on "safe" mode, i mean with the "boot command (not flash boot command):

    Code:
    .\fastboot boot magisk_patched-2XXXX_XXXXX.img

7/ Device will boot on System/OS with Magisk/Root granted just this time, and if not boot, just restart, old boot is always installed, more safe.
If device boot normally with the patched Boot, just go on magisk > install > install directly (recommanded) > apply
    and reboot, voila !

We need EDL QPST stock rom....
A full restore is needed before playing into the phone
For @Holospark too and for other members who thought they could use QPST for the Nothing Phone(1)

I had written a tutorial about Qualcomm Product Support Tools, but I hesitated to post it because I was really unsure of its effectiveness.
As I posted it this morning, my uncertainty was confirmed by @SkandaH via this post, for which I thank him:
I'm afraid, but you can't use the regular OTA ZIPs for flashing via EDL mode, which means the guide you just posted is kinda pointless.
Very few OEMs use the QPST package as it is beyond BSP testing. Rather, they develop their in-house servicing tool for bulk flashing. Nowadays, such tools either require online authentication, or you need specialized hardware tokens to validate your entity before flashing.
I don't think Nothing will ever willingly publish the EDL package for the Nothing Phone 1. However, we can always hope for a leak.

That's why you won't find a tutorial on how to use QPST for the moment, unless Nothing will willingly publish the EDL package, which I don't believe in, except for a leak:unsure:
Thanks a lot for your comprehension ;)
