Phone dies because of 0% charge and shows 24% when I plug it to the charger

So, a couple of days ago my phone died while using it because battery reached 0%. As soon as I plugged it in, it showed 24% charged. So I turned on the phone, used it again until 5% and let it charge overnight. Last night I intentionally let it die again just to be sure. And it showed 24% again when I plugged it in.

I'm currently on miui 11.

Anyone else faced this issue? Should I be concerned?

Calibrate your battery by draining completely and charging fully upto 100% and repeat the steps for 7 consecutive charge cycles.
