Phone mounts ext-as when restarted, but not from fresh boot?

I searched, and could not find anything. If I restart my phone from the power menu, it mounts the sd card, but if I power it off, then turn it back on, I have to go into settings and mount the card manually. Any idea why? I am on the factory stock ics Rom rooted with s-off, and stock kernel.

Sometimes it happens due to loose contact of SDcard but if your problem is not that it means that it should be software issue...

And for that you can flash other Rom
( it is little weird to stay on stock Rom , try switch other which have good battery life and functions ) like viper amaze, supersense and energy also...


If problem.remains then try to flash t-Mobile RUU and it will solve your problem for sure.
