Phone Non-Functional - Help

I did some stupid things to my Fascinate. I was rooted and had successfully updated to DL09 but then tried to flash an old battery image and the phone is bad. I tried a factory reset but it boots into a lwp screen with puzzle lock see picture). When I unlock, the telephone flashes a series of 'forced error' messages and then cycles through the puzzle lock screen, goes dark, and then puzzle lock screen again. I tried flashing Di01package3.tar.md5 using Odin but got "md5 has value is invalid" error. How do I get back to stock so that I can start over? I had rom manager on my phone with a recent backup. TIA

Redownload the package and flash via PDA in Odin. Sounds like a bad download.

I did not rename it. Should I?

No. Renaming it would give you that were, though. Only suggestion I can make is to redownload the. Md5.

Thanks for the link. I downloaded the file and still get the hash error notice when using Odin. Other ideas?

Try using a different USB cable or a different port on your computer.
