November Play system update is for the Google Play Store, Android security update is the one that normally changes when you update via System update<Settings

I am still on November as well. Am on the latest QPR for what it matters. Some P7 owners have gotten the Jan Services update it seems. It is crazy that my son's One Plus N200 5G has the Jan Play Services Update and our phones don't. I really wish Google would say something about it, even to confirm there is an issue or function that was not working properly or creating the hold up. Not a fan of the radio silence

Same here on both mine and my daughter's P7. Unlocked, purchased directly from Google.

I supposedly installed the Jan Play update (Settings/About Phone/Android Version/Google Play) a couple days ago. I've restarted the phone to finish the installation as the process said, but it still shows up as Nov 22 update. No update is found when I check either. Obviously we are not alone with this problem......

I've installed at least half a dozen 'updates' since November, but it still reports the November version.

I was stuck on November security patch till a few days ago; I read online that T-Mo & Google fi were holding back security updates because it caused issues with esims. So I put in an old Verizon SIM card I had laying around and I was able to get the Dec & Jan security updates that way. I didn't think to check the play update and it turns out I'm also on Nov. Will try and use the SIM swap later to see if that works.

There are two different updates. There is the Android update and Play Services update. I believe the T-Mobile issue is for Android, is it not?

Yes, 2 different updates but possibly it may affect google play update. It's just a suggestion and I haven't bothered try it. It did allow me to update the Android security patches for Dec & Jan. I didn't think to manually check for googe play service update when I had the Verizon card in.

Mine too. Checked it last night and it said to reboot to complete update (which it's said many times before since the Nov update). However this time when I rebooted, it shows Jan 1, 2023 update which is persistent after a second reboot. I've had the phone say Jan 1, 2023 update before (in the last week) but it didn't persist through a second reboot.
