Phone won't charge - stuck at 0%

My Moto G ran out of charge earlier so I put it on charge and it has been stuck at 0% for the last two hours, it usually takes about five minutes for it to start up again (It usually starts up automatically when charging) but nothing is happening. I tried holding the power button and volume down button at the same time and launch from there but it just goes back to the 0% screen so I have no idea what to do!

That is what I tried but it didn't work.

Now it won't even show the 0% screen and the LED is not flashing to tell me I have no battery...

Did you find any solution to this problem, recently my moto g has also stuck at 0% and does not charge further.
