The photos come out blurry a lot. I noticed if I zoom in just a little after I take a blurry photo that the blurriness goes away for some reason though.
I'm would not say that I'm made with my decision to get the 6p. Just a little jealous because the S6 had a great camera and size. Everything else is wrong with the phone.

Got the 6P today, yes I know there is a 16:9 ratio but it goes down to 8.3 megapixels. Either way, the images are still good enough to view on a computer and very comparable to the S6. Just took a few quick shots via touch focus. I've attached both 4:3 and 16:9, as well as a quick shot off my Galaxy S6 as well for comparison (last pic with warmer tones).Don't you know that you can switch to 16:9 in the camera setting ? (but of course , you will lose some megapixels)
By far the best camera, I thought the nexus 6 with HDR was good....this is just amazing on the 6P.
Here's a picture I took lastnight.

Those are some pretty bad quality shots. lol. I wouldn't buy the Nexus 6p for the camera. Maybe for the other great aspects of the phone. It's none the less a decent shooter.
I'm with you on this. I cam from a note 3 and I've been disappointed by the quality of the camera. Trying to take pictures of my 19 month old son more often than not results in blurry imagesI guess since I came back to the Nexus line from the S6, I have to say I'm disappointed. My expectations weren't too high though, so I'm not overly disappointed. I got used to, and liked the S6's 16X9 pics. I like how they filled up the S6's display. I'm trying to get used to the N6P's 4X3 pics. I can positively say that low-light pics are nowhere near as good as Google would have one believe they'd be. Period. As long as the lighting is good, the pics will be as well.
Of course, a lesser camera is still worth coming back to the Nexus. So overall I'm happy.
True. I tried turning off HDR+ for fast moving subjects. But switching between modes for point and shooting is a pain. My iPhone 6 used to take pictures without fail / blurriness.I'm with you on this. I cam from a note 3 and I've been disappointed by the quality of the camera. I don't often use the camera in low light situations, so I can't really offer any arguments against that, but as far as fast motion/moving objects and daylight photos go, the Note 3 is superior (imho). Too often than not the 6p camera blurs my photos, I have to take several shots to be sure I can get a decent image.I had the Note 3 and 4. The Note 3's camera is a joke compared to the 6p. While the 4 fairs a little better, the 6p is miles ahead in low light.

Hi guys
Noticed that on the 6p, the pixel were much lower if u choose 16:9
Which do u perfer to shoot with? 4:3 with more pixel, or 16:9 with less pixel?
and why you do it?
Thanks.
