I feel my photos are fuzzy and distorted around the edges. I'll try and get some examples tonight. Looking at the lens behind the glass it appears the camera isn't centered behind the glass, which could be a hardware defect on my particular phone. I do agree with other posts overall so far I'm happier with my 6p camera which makes me sad.

Also couldn't agree more about movement I can get any moving object with my 6p with my axon, I know it will be a blurred mess.
Now that's crappy. I need good freeze ability for my 3 crazy children ! Not sure why it cannot get a good moving image as specs would suggest it could. Can you get a good one in manual mode ?

I feel like it does fairly well with movement....if there is enough light. I was impressed with the photos I took of my daughter at a splash park earlier this month. The water lookes awesome... IMO
It captures that moving water really well. Yes there is loads of light whic helps a lot. Would be interested to see if you can capture here moving indoors in a house. Most of my photos are of the 3 boys running around in doors.

It does not do well in doors. It should, but does not.

Could you post an indoor shot please. I hear it is bad indoors but how bad is what I'm worried about... Is it moto x style bad ? Or galaxy note 4 bad which was ok just yellow.
Depends on the lighting and subject movement. This is my son. Not exactly a still photograph. I do have better results with the stock camera app. The one on his back is using Open Camera.

One on his stomach is with stock camera. I did have to adjust slightly using google photos auto.
Thanks that's very kind. Yes I see what you mean there is some obvious grain present. Could you give me an idea of time of day and if it was dark with lights in etc. Just trying to judge

Here is a less than flattering photo of my wife at the bar. It was pretty dark. Open Camera did better. No flash, but the is still very skewed to the lighter.
That's better than I expected. So are you using a different camera app because the stock one sucks ? Here is a indoor photo of my little horrors .... Just cause we are sharing and want to see if any processing happens on upload ;) taken on my G4

Could someone look at their Axon 7 shots full size and see if they're having the same issues as me in the pics attached? I'm not sure my phone is ok.
These are three crops from the same photo shot on auto at 1/160 and ISO 100.

I've noticed that all of my photos are very soft and fuzzy on just the left hand side NOT the right and nice and sharp at the middle as you can see in the shots of the building. Does this mean the lens is a bad one?

Also, people walking end up very blurred, as you can see in the example below of a couple ambling along. The background is nice and sharp but they are definitely not This didn't happen with my non-ois phones and it seems an odd thing to happen with stabilization at 1/160.

What do you think, camera people?

Detail looks gold in the building ones especially the right side. Couldn't notice the fuzziness on my phone would need to look on a computer. I read in a review the HDR processing is so crap and slow it always blurs movement, we're you using HDR in the shots ?

Thanks for your reply. HDR was probably on but does not explain why the left-hand side is fuzzy and the right-hand side perfectly sharp. In every picture. Also happens in portrait, so rather than day left hand, I'll say the third of the sensor closest to the bottom of the phone.

Could you take the same shots without hdr on please and we can see the differences. Am sure those people won't mind coming back again )))

Can anyone on a U (US) model confirm the B27 update improves low light? I haven't gotten around to updating, but after taking pics side by side with my friend's S7 edge, there's literally no comparison.. haha. Lowlight is way behind on our A7 (B20 update anyways).

I "feel" it was improved, actually last night I shot a few pictures with it and they look decent, to me.

same as above just full auto, it was very dark *in real life too*

this is from the window in my bus, it was raining outside, and I wanted to macro shot the drops, turned out pretty cool

There doesn't seem to be a picture attached!

Someone asked me to get some moving shot pictures.. Best I could do was from long distance at a roller derby..

I attempted three pictures, and those are the three. I'm pretty satisfied with the camera.. I'd give it a grade of B-. If we were grading on a curve, I'd give it a B.
I bought a nexus 6p to accompany my axon 7 and the pictures on the nexus are way better... :/

Still love my axon though! The edge it has over my nexus is manual mode.. So I can get some awesome focus distanced shots.. Not sure how to do that on my nexus with the same precision as my axon.
